Well, looks like my semester break is finally coming to an end.And what a break it was! I feel like I'm finally having a cuti-cuti Malaysia thing going on here haha! Lets see, I went Melaka, Penang, Singapore, and lately Kampar. But technically, kampar wasn't for a trip. It was for an uncle's funeral. Sigh, I'll miss him. It was sad to see how all the relatives I've seen before become so old as well. Ah well, treasure life everyone~ Right, so moving on. I am proud to say, I have finally brought my best friend Chi Yan over to the dark side. Muahahahahahaha!!! And no, not with cookies! With my DSLR camera hehe... She who usually isn't used to taking photos, got tempted by me to try out some modelling at her park after we hung out at The Curve. It was a fun outing.    The Curve was mostly boring and lame, but the fact that we haven't met in a few months really makes a lame place seem ok. Back to the temptation XDD... So as I said, I tempted her to try out a few pics. But as we proceeded, it would seem someone got a little bit addicted to it. Lol.         I couldnt stand not being in the camera AT ALL!! XDD  Chi Yan and I Not bad for her 1st time, don't you think? :P It was a bit tough for ME tho... since the sun was so bloody glaring of all days!! But I still managed to do editing enough to make the photos turn out okay. Thank God for photo editing tools!! And at the end of the day, she said she wouln't mind doing this again LOL! And asked me when was the next round. Kakakakakaka!!! I'm breeding camera freaks here!! Anyone else? :P ****************************************************** So today!! Well, today hahaha. I was in Midvalley pretty much the entire day~ I was supposed to go with Sara to watch Sherlock Holmes in the morning. But the tickets were already sold out by the time we got there. The only seats available were the front row of the cinema. So no way in hell am I gonna blind myself sitting there!!! Same thign happened when we tried to switch movies to Alvin and The Chipmunks 2.. So, we let it go and went off to find Wai Keat for lunch~ Didn't miss a chance to take some photos either.. Wai Keat has been hoping to take a photo with my DSLR since I told him about it! XD   So after that, Sara and I just wandered around for abit... Went to this Chocolate Fair taking photos of chocolates to tempt my mom.. Just for fun. :P    But by the end of the fair, we realised Sara had left something behind at the food court. Typical Sara. Always forgetting stuff. By the time we went back there, it was already gone. Luckily it was nothing much important or expensive. Tho the fact that she just bought it less than an hour ago, made it such a waste. We went back to Midvalley area to buy it once again. Swt. Then, we went to QuikSilver to visit my dear bro Edward awhile, before leaving back home. If you think this is the end of my trip in MV tho, you are SORELY MISTAKEN!!! I only stayed home for an hour or so before going back there again with my family (minus dad)~ Watched Avatar at last!!! =D I really gotta say... Totally awesome movie!!!   The special effects were just the tip of the iceberg. What really intrigued me was the imagination of James Cameron. Who happens to be both the director of this movie as well as the previously famous Titanic. The way he created this entire world of fascinating creatures, culture, tribes and language.. I really cannot begin to explain how fascinating that world is to me. Just watching it made me feel like it was real.. like it really existed... And how much I really wished I was there...  Its hard to explain to those who havent watched the movie yet. But once u've watched it, u'll be amazed at the beauty of the world that is there. Oh and btw, once u understand the true meaning of "I See You", it kicks the phrase "I Love You" under the dump. XD The meaning of this phrase, u guys can figure out for urselves. But u really wanna know and watched the movie edi, u can always ask me privately. I don't provide spoilers here. Anyway, truly amazing movie. I used to wonder why my friends could go to the cinema jsut to watch this movie repeatedly.. Now I know why. And I think I will go watch it again soon, the next chance I get!! XD Oh, and a small fun fact about this movie: The 430 million dollar movie Avatar became the fifth movie in history to pass through the 1 billion dollar mark in unadjusted inflation worldwide sales. It is now, so far, the fourth highest grossing movie of all time at $1.0188 billion, surpassing The Dark Knight which is at $1.0019 billion. Only three films have higher sales, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest at $1.0662 billion, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at $1.1191 and Cameron’s previous film Titanic (No.1) with a staggering $1.8429 billion. Cool huh? This James Cameron dude is seriously one of my idolized directors... Right beside Steven Spielberg!! Oh and before I forget, I really LOVE the Na'vi language. Its the language created by James Cameron for the Omaticayan tribe people. Its sooo.... tribal!! XDDD Especially the word "skxawng"... Sounds hard to read, I know. But its my favorite word so far... since its probably the only word I know lol~ But actually, its just read as "skaung" The "x" is silent. And it means MORON!! Hahaha. You skxawng! XD So thats about it for my post today I suppose. College is starting back and I'm still not yet back in the mood. Sigh... And results are out soon too. But, all I can think of is Avatar now!! Hey all!Super short post here. Just to say, sorry for my late updates. College life is hectic lately. And I won't say I'm not lazy, which I am!!! XD Anyway, just got back from the cinema in MV with C.Kuan. We watched the infamous movie "2012". Let me tell u all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching it!!! It is soooo worth ur rm12 (or rm7 if u hv student id)~ It makes The Day After Tomorrow seems like a kid's movie... This movie shows the horror of what it would look like if the world was coming to an end. And its all very realistic~ Everything that happens is scientifically proven. At least in the movie it is XD Anyway, go watch it, you guys. I wouldn't mind watching it again with u guys hahaha. Oh and btw, I'm headin off to Melaka again this Sunday. This time, with my family for a real vacation!! So if I'm gonna be posting anything anytime soon, it should be after I get back. Hey all!!!And a very good day to start off my 2nd blogging year. Haha.. Guess what? I got up at 8.30am today, without the help of the alarm!!! Geng lehh!!! XD Lolz. Actually, my nose woke me up. Been sneezing all day but that didn't stop me from trying to make pancakes again! This 2nd attempt, I made much progress. And it tasted WAAAAAYYYYY better than the first round XDD Even my family said so. Even my GRANDMA said so!!! Haha, even my cute little cousin brother said so. You get the point. XP  Mmm... i feel like eating again XD  This time, I made sure we had honey!!!  Mission complete. After a very messy war in the kitchen XD  Smile with my pancake!! XD  Nice lehhh... who want? Next time I make 4 them kakakakaka!!!  Testing out my latest creation...  Twas a success!! =D Don't mind my look. I was sleepy the entire day anyways. Moving on... Today, I found that I seemed to be drawn to many new movies. And most of these movies, are based on novels or real life stories. Surely some new addiction of mine!!! So, I thought I'd share thesefew movies with you guys anyway. Who knows? You might like it just as much as I do! And btw, these movies I like happen to come in a few diff genres. The book actually brought me close to tears!! CLOSE TO!!! ONLY CLOSE TO!!! XDD As for The Time Traveller's Wife, I've only watched the trailer.. But I'm already addicted to it!!! I plan to read the book before the movie comes out in cinemas. I wanna read the original first. =) But anyways, today I'm just gonna be posting about these stuff. Yo my peeps!!!Lol... Feeling slightly crazy for some reason today~ No idea why seeing as I just got up about an hour or so ago!!! But anyways, Bon Odori pics r finally up!!! Enjoy!!! =) F.Y.I, All this was on the 18th July 2009. So before we went to Bon Odori, which started around 5pm, we (me, Sara, Vee Shian) decided to go early to MV to watch Harry Potter 6. We've been dying to watch this together for a long time!! And it just came out a few days earlier. So we thought it would be safe to watch on a Friday morning. Wrong!!!!  U see this row of ppl? We're not in that row. We at the row BESIDE IT!!! FURTHER OUTSIDE!!!  We made a whole circle before reaching the row shown above... So, after lining up for almost an hour, we reached the counter that told us the time slots before 5pm were all sold out!! So we asked if we could get the tickets from the uncollected Reservations. But the person told us we needed to be there 30mins before the movie start. So, with nothing else to do, we tried going for the Q&A session for Harry Potter going on nearby. I of course, knew many answers already seeing as I had read the book. But... When I finally got the chance to answer... I got it wrong!!! Reli fucked up!!! This is why I hate movies based on books... Sometimes, they change too much from the book!! It was supposed to be freakin Tonks that found Harry on the train floor!!! Not Luna!!!! But nooooo, they had to change that in the movie... Ugh... freaks!!! =.='' Well, since I couldn't get the free tickets or any merchandise at all, we could only go eat something (lunch!) before going to line up again!!!  Lives up to her monkey zodiac reputation right? XDDD Jkjkjk. She was jz tying her hair XD Well, after lining up the second round!!! For another hour!!!! We reached the counter again, that told us we needed to wait another 4mins before the tickets would be released... I was like WTF??!! So we gotta line up again??? Swt.... I asked the counter person if we could wait at a side for 4mins. And the person finally allowed us. Thank God!!! And when 4mins was up, they called us over... And...  Voila!!! TICKETS!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! XDD This time, we went to the Q&A session again, where they had a photo taking booth beside it. We could take a free photo with 2 HP6 tickets. Soooo......  Meet Eddie Potter and Sara Granger!!! Lame, I know XDDD  I even wore the Harry Potter glasses!!! LMAO!!! The movie was not bad. Much better than the 5th. But I was still a bit dissapointed with all the changes frm the book. They even removed a lot of important parts!! Like the visit to Gaunt's house. The battle while Dumbledore is killed. And more emphasis on how Voldemort finds the objects for the horcruxes... I have no idea how r they gonna continue the final movie without mentioning this part in the current 6th movie... I just hope they don't ruin the final movie. And don't change too much from the book. Otherwise, there's gonna be hell to pay!!! After the movie ended, it was already almost 5pm. So we rushed to the KTM station to get to Shah Alam. My God!! The station was damn packed!! And so was the KTM itself!! We literally squashed our way into the KTM, until we arrived at KL Sentral to switch to another KTM line. At that stop, we actually didnt get to move at all while getting into the KTM!!! I remember my hands squashed at my side, unable to move, and I was being slowly pushed into the KTM. I couldnt walk at all!!! I couldn't get away from the crowd, whether I wanted to get in or out of the KTM!!! Thankfully Sara n Vee Shian was pushed in as well. Otherwise, we might've been separated... Wow. I've never really realised how scary a huge crowd can be. I mean, in movies we see families separated in large crowds during war. And you think, why couldn't they just move to a side and wait for the crowd to disperse? After experiencing something similar, I will never underestimate a crowd ever again. I actually was unable to move at all. My feet only moved as the crowd did!!! Anyway, after getting stuck in the KTM for another 1/2hr without moving... (twas funny whn me, v.shian n Sara were stuck like glue to each other~ I had to use Sara's head to push my glasses up since my hands were stuck at my sides XDD) We finally arrived at the Shah Alam KTM Station!! We took a free shuttle bus to the Stadium, and voila!!! We arrived at Bon Odori at last!!! Around 6.30pm.  Look at that crowd!!!!  Awww... they were selling kimonos and japanese headbands... I wanted to get a headband... But it cost rm15 =.='' Like hell I was gonna buy it!!!  There were seats up there. For ppl who wanted to have a good view of the festival. But we didn't sit up there. We wanted to tour around and be part of d action!! =D  Damn cool drummers!!! Sugoi!!!  Me and Sara. Both looking beaten up. We have finally arrived... after all that chaos!!!  Me, Vee Shian and Sara. Best friends 4ever!! Right. So obviously, we began roaming around searching for food. And then, we made a stop at a sushi place.  Look at them enjoying~  Haha... i watched them eating... I didn't think I'd eat anything there but....  There turned out to have egg rolls!!! So I ate XDD  Mmmmm... Not filling, but just the way we like it. More food to explore and consume!!! =D  Tho we had to pay first ofcoz... Turns out this was a Sushi King stall XD  Oh God!! Look at that chicken!! Seeing this photo again makes me hungry XD  Mmmmm... so many choices....  Look at that man up there promoting... So cute!! Hahahaha!!!  Awesome view of the saying "Ren Shan Ren Hai" (a.k.a.Ppl mountain, ppl sea :P) PS: Can u see Sara at the bottom center of d pic? =P  Fruits!! With Chocolate!! Can u say.. Yummy??  Youve heard of Chocolate Strawberries... How about Chocolate Bananas??  I'm going for the kill!!!  Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Delicious!! Oishi!!! (i think its said like tht XD)  Hahahah.... Sara laughing? Laughing at wat? Well.... (see nex pic)  LoL!!! First, he dropped his chocolate bana on his jeans and onto the ground. Then, he opened a yakult cover and spilt everything on his jeans again!!! And on Sara's sling bag. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!  My Teriyaki Chicken Rice!!!  One hand chicken, another hand chocolate banana... We're all so busy~ EATING!!  This chicken damn yummy!!  This ain't an ordinary fishball... Its fishball with a special sauce!!! Makes it so delicious!! But this special sauce... What its called... I cant remember!!!!!! XDD  Time moves on... But I stay still.... TO EAT!!! XD  Awesome night to just eat!!! =D  Some of what we ate. I didnt photo everything!!  Can u spot me in light blue T-Shirt? I'm joining in the cultural dance XDD Twas really fun!!!  Everyone's doing the dance!! Hell, I even met Json frm NS thr!!! Awesome to see ya again man!!! After 1 year of not meeting.. sad we 4got to take a pic T.T  Follow the pretty ladies everyone~ Do as they do!! =P  Haha... i can't keep up no more!! Sara joined in the dance after awhile.. Gime gime gime!!! xP  Bye bye!!! So that's the end of Bon Odori 2009. But that didn't stop us from partying!!! I still refused to go bak without taking a pic wif a japanese!!  Trio!! We were supposed to hang out together but, it was hard to meet up with each other in there. The phone lines were impossible to get in the crowd. I had to go out of the main gates just to get some slight reception, enough to send a sms... Lol. Well, overall it was an awesome night.
