Well, looks like my semester break is finally coming to an end.And what a break it was! I feel like I'm finally having a cuti-cuti Malaysia thing going on here haha! Lets see, I went Melaka, Penang, Singapore, and lately Kampar. But technically, kampar wasn't for a trip. It was for an uncle's funeral. Sigh, I'll miss him. It was sad to see how all the relatives I've seen before become so old as well. Ah well, treasure life everyone~ Right, so moving on. I am proud to say, I have finally brought my best friend Chi Yan over to the dark side. Muahahahahahaha!!! And no, not with cookies! With my DSLR camera hehe... She who usually isn't used to taking photos, got tempted by me to try out some modelling at her park after we hung out at The Curve. It was a fun outing.    The Curve was mostly boring and lame, but the fact that we haven't met in a few months really makes a lame place seem ok. Back to the temptation XDD... So as I said, I tempted her to try out a few pics. But as we proceeded, it would seem someone got a little bit addicted to it. Lol.         I couldnt stand not being in the camera AT ALL!! XDD  Chi Yan and I Not bad for her 1st time, don't you think? :P It was a bit tough for ME tho... since the sun was so bloody glaring of all days!! But I still managed to do editing enough to make the photos turn out okay. Thank God for photo editing tools!! And at the end of the day, she said she wouln't mind doing this again LOL! And asked me when was the next round. Kakakakakaka!!! I'm breeding camera freaks here!! Anyone else? :P ****************************************************** So today!! Well, today hahaha. I was in Midvalley pretty much the entire day~ I was supposed to go with Sara to watch Sherlock Holmes in the morning. But the tickets were already sold out by the time we got there. The only seats available were the front row of the cinema. So no way in hell am I gonna blind myself sitting there!!! Same thign happened when we tried to switch movies to Alvin and The Chipmunks 2.. So, we let it go and went off to find Wai Keat for lunch~ Didn't miss a chance to take some photos either.. Wai Keat has been hoping to take a photo with my DSLR since I told him about it! XD   So after that, Sara and I just wandered around for abit... Went to this Chocolate Fair taking photos of chocolates to tempt my mom.. Just for fun. :P    But by the end of the fair, we realised Sara had left something behind at the food court. Typical Sara. Always forgetting stuff. By the time we went back there, it was already gone. Luckily it was nothing much important or expensive. Tho the fact that she just bought it less than an hour ago, made it such a waste. We went back to Midvalley area to buy it once again. Swt. Then, we went to QuikSilver to visit my dear bro Edward awhile, before leaving back home. If you think this is the end of my trip in MV tho, you are SORELY MISTAKEN!!! I only stayed home for an hour or so before going back there again with my family (minus dad)~ Watched Avatar at last!!! =D I really gotta say... Totally awesome movie!!!   The special effects were just the tip of the iceberg. What really intrigued me was the imagination of James Cameron. Who happens to be both the director of this movie as well as the previously famous Titanic. The way he created this entire world of fascinating creatures, culture, tribes and language.. I really cannot begin to explain how fascinating that world is to me. Just watching it made me feel like it was real.. like it really existed... And how much I really wished I was there...  Its hard to explain to those who havent watched the movie yet. But once u've watched it, u'll be amazed at the beauty of the world that is there. Oh and btw, once u understand the true meaning of "I See You", it kicks the phrase "I Love You" under the dump. XD The meaning of this phrase, u guys can figure out for urselves. But u really wanna know and watched the movie edi, u can always ask me privately. I don't provide spoilers here. Anyway, truly amazing movie. I used to wonder why my friends could go to the cinema jsut to watch this movie repeatedly.. Now I know why. And I think I will go watch it again soon, the next chance I get!! XD Oh, and a small fun fact about this movie: The 430 million dollar movie Avatar became the fifth movie in history to pass through the 1 billion dollar mark in unadjusted inflation worldwide sales. It is now, so far, the fourth highest grossing movie of all time at $1.0188 billion, surpassing The Dark Knight which is at $1.0019 billion. Only three films have higher sales, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest at $1.0662 billion, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at $1.1191 and Cameron’s previous film Titanic (No.1) with a staggering $1.8429 billion. Cool huh? This James Cameron dude is seriously one of my idolized directors... Right beside Steven Spielberg!! Oh and before I forget, I really LOVE the Na'vi language. Its the language created by James Cameron for the Omaticayan tribe people. Its sooo.... tribal!! XDDD Especially the word "skxawng"... Sounds hard to read, I know. But its my favorite word so far... since its probably the only word I know lol~ But actually, its just read as "skaung" The "x" is silent. And it means MORON!! Hahaha. You skxawng! XD So thats about it for my post today I suppose. College is starting back and I'm still not yet back in the mood. Sigh... And results are out soon too. But, all I can think of is Avatar now!! So I'll probably watch it again next week haha~ Nitey nite peeps!! Wow. When was my last post? (don't answer tht pls :P) Its really has been a whirlwind ride since my last post. I had to deal with loads of assignments and presentations. Not to mention the horrible finals!! Oh God, I wonder if I'll pass my Statistics... i went into the Exam Hall completely blank!! Sigh. Don't care la. Its OVER!!! So moving on... Like I said, a whirlwind of a time since my last post!! I mentioned about going to Melaka right? Well, besides Melaka, I also went to Penang and Singapore in the past week!!! So you see how busy I became. Before I knew it, its now 31st Dec 2009. The last day of this year. Wow, I say. Time really flies. I can't believe I've neglected this blog for so long now!! And I think I'm writing in very weird sentences now too. Sorry about that. Oh, and a very important news. I finally got a DSLR camera!!!! For those who dunno, its those big professional-looking cameras. Woohooo!!! I'm so bloody happy, I tell u!! My dream gift is a laptop and a DSLR.. So its really cool to get even one of them! :P Really gotta thank my Uncle Keat frm Singapore. He has always truly cared for me and my family. I don't see that in many people, but in him, when he asks "how are you all doing?", I can see and tell... that he really means it. I can't even begin to describe how much this family owes him, and how much I love this uncle of mine. This past Singapore trip, he didn't even let me spend a single cent!! Not to mention buying me a DSLR just becoz he knows I luv Photography.... Can't wait to see him again when he comes down to KL in January :D Anyway, I'll be posting up a few photos of each of my trips for u guys to take a look. Can't post em all or it'll take too long!! And i remember saying I'll post other past photos here right? Well... I think its just accumulated so much I doubt I'll be able to post them all either. So maybe I'll dedicate another post soon to a few of each :) Oh, and when I mean each, you gotta know, it could be quite alot to u guys. Coz i'm used to take few hundred shots each trip. Thx to my sis's SS-ness and my own photographic genius :P  So much for recreating The Little Mermaid scene. This is soooo NOT IT!! XDD    This picture became my Scenery assignment for my Photography class. Cool huh? :)   Oh it was SUCH a relaxing trip!! Just jacuzzi-ing, steam bathing, and sunbathing all 3 days!! :D Penang Trip (19-21st Dec 09)  On the ferry for the 1st time!!  Awesome view of Penang~   Lolz. What joy!! And what fun this pic was :P   Haha. This picture just makes my day!      My favorite food of the entire island!! :P  Awesome view! Luv d shine on the floor... Its at Air Itam Dam btw ;)  .jpg) Singapore Trip (24-26th Dec 09) **Pls note that the photos here are WAAAYYY MOREE than the past 2 trips. This is coz I've nvr been around Singapore ever! The last time I was here, was 10yrs ago, and I stayed in my Uncle's hse only.**  The place u MUST GO when in Singapore. Especially during Xmas season :D The entire street (1hr walk frm 1 end to the other) is decorated!!   If u notice, a foam snow fight is happening across d road. I wish I could join in!! XD   Saw this at Sentosa Island. Hillarious!!      About 50ft in the air!!  haha. Doesn't it look like the boats r about to crash? XD   My dear Uncle Keat~ :D  This was not as gruesome as I thought. But it was frightenin when its head was facing me!!!  At Clarke Quay. Waiting for a boat ride on the Singapore River~   Aunty Lay Kuan, Me, Siew Ping (cousin), and Uncle Keat!!  I dunno why I luv this pic so much!!   The Singapore tolls r sooo efficient!! U don't hv 2 stop... just go past that arch thing and it will auto deduct money!! From a smart tag thingy stuck on every car :D  Went to the museum to see the Egyptian Exhibit. Rare opportunity!!!! :D  So modern!! Unlike local museums.... damn boring local museums LOL!! XDD      MUMMIES OF TWO CROCODILES!!!!    This is where all the organs of the mummies are placed... EWWWW!!!!  Tried to take a photo with the mummy, but I only turned up ghostly looking behind the glass XDDD  Totally cute haha!! Soldiers in headphones. Listening to Lady Gaga while marching to war perhaps? XDD       Now this is cool. just pull, and put ur nose in the cone, and u can smell the diff herbs!!  Me and my cousin Siew Peng~   Enjoying my Death by Nutella :P  Note to self: Never combine two sweet chocolate food and drinks together!!  Going home with my BRAND NEW DSLR CAMERA!!!! Thank U Uncle Keat!!!! =D So there you go. Those are my most recent vacation trips!! I have to say, I'm really gonna miss this year 2009. So much has happened and I feel like I've changed so much since last year. I really wonder what will next year look like? How will I be like next year? Sigh. But 2010 also means I'll be closer to leaving my teen years... And no closer to going overseas!! T.T Ah well. I will make it someday. I know i will!! But for now, just let me say goodbye to 2009, and wish all my friends and fellow blog followers (if they still exist)... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! May 2010 be a year full of joy and good luck for you all!!
