MERDEKA!!!!!
Happy Independence Day Malaysia!!!

Honestly, this day,
doesn't really bring me tooo much excitement or anything.
But either way, I live here so I must.
Heh.

My real reason for blogging today is, ofcourse,
to update u guys on what went on last Tuesday (25th Aug).
I went to hang out with my family (minus dad) at Midvalley.

And for the first time, my mom, bro and sis went to sing k with me!!
It was really fun actually, coz...

One.
We never did this kinda thing together before.

Two.
My dad wasn't there to suck the fun away.
LOL. Okay, i'm joking. Mostly. Partially. A bit. Maybe. =)

Anyway,
I realised that my voice was rather loud that day.
I didn't really need the microphone to sing.
Probably becoz I had too much training while singing with Amy all the time.
With Amy around, no microphone can beat her voice!!

So, we went on singing for 4 hours at The Gardens Red Box.

Sis, Mom and Bro.

Heh. 4 hours of singing!!
My vocals r completely ruined for now.

Outside Redbox.

After finished with our sing k session,
we roamed around The Gardens for abit before headin back to Midvalley.
But we also did lots of window shopping.

And for the first time in a long time,
we did a real shopping spree as well!!!

And a pricey one at that too.
My mom said we could go take a look at the clothes in Reef.
Reef is kinda like Quicksilver so u get an idea of the price and style of the clothes.

The clothes were all so awesome.
I couldn't stand it.
I had to try them on!!!

Lol. Crazy kid.

And in the end,
my mom decided to allow me to buy 2 shirts from there.
One was a T-Shirt. A colorful one!!!
And another was a more towards casual/formal kinda long sleeved shirt,
and looked waaayyy awesome!!!

I bought this t-shirt... Cool huh??!!!
I'm not gonna show u guys the long sleeved shirt.
Mayeb next time when I wear it =P

By the end of our spree in Reef,
I alone had spent probably about rm200+.
I was shocked that my mom bought them for me,
but still extremely grateful.

THANKS MOM!!! =D

After that, we headed back to Midvalley area,
camwhoring all the way hahaha.

We r the Monsters!!!

Back there, we continued our window shopping.
We did stop by MPH cafe for a short while,
but soon, it went back to shopping spree mode.

My bro managed to convince my mom to get him a hat.
And my sis managed to get herself a pretty hip hop looking dress.
I almost got another button-up shirt but they didn't have my size.
So, I didn't push to get it.

Even if my mom said it was ok to buy another shirt.
Coz I know I shouldnt over do it.
My mom has already did loads for us today.

I mean, rm200++ for 2 shirts isn't exactly in our budget.
And I know our money has been very tight lately.
So I really REALLY am grateful for these clothes...

I can't wait to try them on!!!
I've already tried the colorful T-shirt on an outing the other day.
With Chi Yan and Win Jiun.

Might post about it soon.
Or maybe not. I'm not sure yet. =)

Well, maybe not EIGHTY days....
I don't even think there was eight hours at all.
Haha.

But I did tour around KL area.
Which is rare.
These are the days I think to myself.
God, I'm ashamed to be called a Malaysian!!!

I mean, I don't even know the roads around my own hometown...
Somebody ship me off overseas please. XP
I don't mind. Really. Lol.

Anyway~
Last monday was the day of all these happenings.
It was also my first day back at college.

I met up with Amy in Ms.Aiena's Abnormal Psychology class.
And then I gave her the birthday present I got for her.
Haha, right in the middle of class, she opened the present.

Well, class ended quite early anyways.
It was 9.30am when we all started to leave class.
And we headed out to the ADP counter to check out some stuff.

After, Yi Ling drove Amy, Alvin and I to Sunway Pyramid for lunch.
I had a craving for Western Food, so we ended up going to Gasoline to eat.

Well after, we parted with Yi Ling and headed to the bus stop.
We took the bus all the way to KL Sentral and took the LRT to KLCC.
We went separate ways with Alvin ofcourse, who was headin home.

Seeing as how I hadn't been there since, err, forever!!!
I was like a tourist there.

I've only went there once in my life.
With my family.
So this time its quite different from the last time I was there =)

Well, the day went on until evening,
then I went home completely exhausted!!!

So finally, after so many years,
I finally have seen the main parts of KL!!
God, I really never thought of going there much.
Too hectic and boring city life, I thought.

I have to say,
despite being born Malaysian,
I've always thought of myself as more westernized. =P

I don't deserve to be here.
So pls again I ask God, send me overseas!!! =P

But either way,
it was a nice day overall.
Wasn't too bad I guess.

Hahahahaha.

Had loads of fun these past two days!!
With both family and friends.

But sadly, I'm totally wiped out!!!!
No energy left in me to post photos and wait for them to upload.
So, I'll try to do it tomorrow instead.

I get 1 whole day at home!!

Got my new camera!!!!
Weeeeeee!!!~

It ain't some fancy Sony camera,
or an awesomely pro SLR camera... which I want!!!
But still, its pretty awesome.
And it shud get me through my photography class this new semester.

Its a Canon Powershot A1000 IS. =)

Picture pixels r gonna be huge!!!
And my editer doesnt seem to be able to cut it down to size.
Something wrong with it.
Gonna have to fix it when I've got the time.

But that will have to wait until after college 2moro though!!
So till then, here are some pics I took while trying out my camera today.
Quite pleased with the outcome!! =P
