Well, looks like my semester break is finally coming to an end.
And what a break it was!

I feel like I'm finally having a cuti-cuti Malaysia thing going on here haha!
Lets see, I went Melaka, Penang, Singapore, and lately Kampar.

But technically, kampar wasn't for a trip.
It was for an uncle's funeral.
Sigh, I'll miss him.
It was sad to see how all the relatives I've seen before become so old as well.

Ah well, treasure life everyone~

Right, so moving on.
I am proud to say, I have finally brought my best friend Chi Yan over to the dark side.
Muahahahahahaha!!!

And no, not with cookies!
With my DSLR camera hehe...

She who usually isn't used to taking photos,
got tempted by me to try out some modelling at her park after we hung out at The Curve.
It was a fun outing.

The Curve was mostly boring and lame,
but the fact that we haven't met in a few months really makes a lame place seem ok.

Back to the temptation XDD...
So as I said, I tempted her to try out a few pics.
But as we proceeded, it would seem someone got a little bit addicted to it.
Lol.

I couldnt stand not being in the camera AT ALL!! XDD

It was a bit tough for ME tho... since the sun was so bloody glaring of all days!!
But I still managed to do editing enough to make the photos turn out okay.
Thank God for photo editing tools!!

And at the end of the day,
she said she wouln't mind doing this again LOL!
And asked me when was the next round.

Kakakakakaka!!!
I'm breeding camera freaks here!!

So today!!
Well, today hahaha.
I was in Midvalley pretty much the entire day~

I was supposed to go with Sara to watch Sherlock Holmes in the morning.
But the tickets were already sold out by the time we got there.
The only seats available were the front row of the cinema.
So no way in hell am I gonna blind myself sitting there!!!

Same thign happened when we tried to switch movies to Alvin and The Chipmunks 2..
So, we let it go and went off to find Wai Keat for lunch~
Didn't miss a chance to take some photos either..

Wai Keat has been hoping to take a photo with my DSLR since I told him about it! XD

So after that,
Sara and I just wandered around for abit...
Went to this Chocolate Fair taking photos of chocolates to tempt my mom..
Just for fun. :P

But by the end of the fair, we realised Sara had left something behind at the food court.
Typical Sara. Always forgetting stuff.
By the time we went back there, it was already gone.

Luckily it was nothing much important or expensive.
Tho the fact that she just bought it less than an hour ago, made it such a waste.
We went back to Midvalley area to buy it once again.
Swt.

Then, we went to QuikSilver to visit my dear bro Edward awhile,
before leaving back home.

If you think this is the end of my trip in MV tho,
you are SORELY MISTAKEN!!!

I only stayed home for an hour or so before going back there again with my family (minus dad)~
Watched Avatar at last!!! =D

I really gotta say...
Totally awesome movie!!!

The special effects were just the tip of the iceberg.
What really intrigued me was the imagination of James Cameron.
Who happens to be both the director of this movie as well as the previously famous Titanic.

The way he created this entire world of fascinating creatures, culture, tribes and language..
I really cannot begin to explain how fascinating that world is to me.
Just watching it made me feel like it was real.. like it really existed...
And how much I really wished I was there...

Its hard to explain to those who havent watched the movie yet.
But once u've watched it, u'll be amazed at the beauty of the world that is there.

Oh and btw, once u understand the true meaning of "I See You",
it kicks the phrase "I Love You" under the dump. XD

The meaning of this phrase, u guys can figure out for urselves.
But u really wanna know and watched the movie edi,
u can always ask me privately.

I don't provide spoilers here.

Anyway, truly amazing movie.
I used to wonder why my friends could go to the cinema jsut to watch this movie repeatedly..
Now I know why.
And I think I will go watch it again soon, the next chance I get!! XD

Oh, and a small fun fact about this movie:

The 430 million dollar movie Avatar became the fifth movie in history to pass through the 1 billion dollar mark in unadjusted inflation worldwide sales. It is now, so far, the fourth highest grossing movie of all time at $1.0188 billion, surpassing The Dark Knight which is at $1.0019 billion.

Oh and before I forget,
I really LOVE the Na'vi language.
Its the language created by James Cameron for the Omaticayan tribe people.
Its sooo.... tribal!! XDDD

Especially the word "skxawng"...
Sounds hard to read, I know.
But its my favorite word so far... since its probably the only word I know lol~

But actually, its just read as "skaung"
The "x" is silent.

And it means MORON!!
Hahaha.
You skxawng! XD

So thats about it for my post today I suppose.
College is starting back and I'm still not yet back in the mood.
Sigh... And results are out soon too.

But, all I can think of is Avatar now!!
So I'll probably watch it again next week haha~

Monday, October 5, 2009 @ 6:14 PM: Belated Update: My Birthday of 2009!!

Wow, where have I been?!!!
Its like I don't recognize my own blog anymore!!!
So quiet and dead here.

Damn, that would be my bad.
Anyway, I've been meaning to update for awhile now and finally,
I've got loooaaaads to update on!!!

So much has happened.
I mean, I even forgot to complete my update on my birthday outing!!
I'm supposed to do a post on my Melaka trip as well,
but right now I just got another couple thousand photos from Amy earlier,
so they might take quite some time to organize.

So I shall first post up the photos I took on my birthday.
I shall slowly continue posting up the rest of the entries I owe u guys k? :P

Now, I shall split these photos into a couple of parts.
Because apparently, my birthday was celebrated a couple of times before the actual day XD
The first part, I already posted up a few posts earlier.

Now, let me got onto the 2nd part. Which is on the 21st Sept at Sunway Pyramid.
Now this day was really a crazy day.
I spent almsot 12hrs in Sunway Pyramid, walking around with my family.

4hours alone, was dedicated to Ice Skating and let me tell you,
never try it so long!!!

My legs killed me for 1 whole week after that.
And by the end of that day, I was limping all the way home, literally!!!

Now this, I asked a nice girl to help us take the pic.
Thx mysterious girl!!! =)

As you can see, skating on Hari Raya is not recommended.
Barely any space for us to move!!!
I just realised i was in there for 4hours.... OMG!!

Well after 4hrs of ice skating, we roamed around Sunway Pyramid.
At first, it was window shopping....
Then, it soon became getting my mom a almost rm1k necklace, getting my sis a new hp,
and then checking out new LCD TVs!!!

I really dunno what came over my dad.
But he sure reverted to normal when I said to go look at laptops.
Clammed up straight away!! =.=''

Either way, he did take us for dinner somewhere in there as well.
Somewhere fancy I might add!!
Thai Thai.

Yes, the place is called Thai Thai.
And if you haven't already noticed, its a thai food restaurant. :P
Personally, I give the place a rating of 11 out of 10!!!

The service there is good.
System is efficient and food is just divine!!
Not to mention the awesome interior design~

I doubt it could get any better than that!!
Well, the price could've gone down but then, I would be asking for too much!!

Okayyyy!!
So now we move onto the third and final part of my birthday celebration for this year!!
The next day, Chi Yan and Win Jiun met up with me to head to Times Square.
To celebrate my birthday ofcourse!!

And if you guys dunno how big a deal this is,
let me tell you now it was a VERY BIG DEAL!!!!

The thing is, our Miss Au Chi Yan rarely ever leaves the house these days.
And so not only did she leave the hosue to celebrate my birthday,
she also sat an LRT to Times Square with us!!!

Wow!!! Right?
I mean, I've never ever seen her on an LRT b4 hahahaha!!!
Though I probably took the picture at a lousy timing and caught her in one of her more...
Err... sleepy look :P

Anyway, we headed straight for Low Yat as soon as we got off the LRT.
Why, you ask?

Well, here's another thing.
Miss Au Chi Yan here ofcourse, the great band singer herself,
decided to grace us with her presence in RedBox to sing alongside us!!!
Hahahahaha.

Ahh well, finally.
I was wondering when I would be able to sing k with her and Win Jiun.
I've known them since forever and yet, I've sung with so many ppl other than them!!
My dream has come true lol!

Note: The best song we combo-ed that day was Earth Song by Michael Jackson. :P

And so, after all that singing,
our throats became sore and we left for home by LRT around 5pm.
Win Jiun and Chi Yan treated me for the Sing K session and refused to let me pay!!!
Lol, damn funny but really, thx guys! =)

Anwyay, my mom was still out with my dad so Win Jiun dropped me at Chi Yan's hse.
While waiting for my transport, me and chi yan decided to go for a jog.
But a jog soon became a photo session when I whipped out my camera!!! XDD

There were many awesome sights around her housing area,
and we just couldnt miss out on any!! =D

It looks like a futuristic space-like urban area.
Where there's the sun, a star and moon together at hte same time.
In reality, the sun is just a street lamp..
The star, is really the moon.
And the moon, is really just a reflection :P

Well, after taking all those photos, it had already been around... 7-ish i think.
And my mom was still not coming yet!!!
So, me and Chi Yan walked to the nearby Rabbit Cafe for dinner.
Here, I forced her to let me pay for her dinner.

She didnt bring her wallet out so she had no choice hahahaha!!
Anyway, we both had Spaghetti.
Something I had been craving for since the past 2 weeks!!!

Well that is pretty much how I celebrated my birthday this year.
Once again, seriously, thanks to Chi and Win Jiun for a great birthday!!

And ofcourse, to my family as well.
Who went crazy with me for 2 days in Bangsar and Sunway Pyramid!!
Really a special birthday this year.

Lastly ofcourse,
to all those who wished and greeted me in Facebook, MSN, phone call, and SMS.
You guys really made my day!!
It was sooo fun reading my birthday wishes and replying to them on my birthday.
Truly, I was touched. =)

Ahhh...
Hopefully next year will top this one!! :P
