Sorry bout the delayed posts.
I haven't updated on my Pulau Ketam or Melaka trip.
I feel like i've neglected my blog.

Its just that there are SO MANY PHOTOS!!!!!
Past 800 pics each trip.
And I can't seem to choose the nice ones out!!!

Oh, and there's my birthday post too.
Not much there but still I've gotta post SOMETHING!!
Which i will, soon.

Anyway,
yesterday was a big day for me.
Sorta.

Mom brought us to go see a house they had been eying on.
It was an old house actually but acceptable I thought.
It had four rooms, which was exactly what we wanted!!
And it was quite near where I'm living now.

The environment was okay too and besides some minor problems,
the place was a great place to rent and stay!!

But, that's when it sank in.
God, we were gonna leave our current home.
And by the time we got home, we were already missing everything.
From the door entrance, to the hot stuffy computer area.
To all the memories I've had sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night just to watch tv..

Aiks!!
Seriously I was starting to rethink everything!!
And my dad didnt like the new house anyway.
So my mom asked us to consider abit longer.
And at last, I thought, I couldn't say I like that house better than where I live now.
So thats when we all decided to try looking for some place better.

Seriously, it was a really close call.
We actually asked the estate agent to contact the owner already!!
Makes me kinda miss this house and how its gonna be away from it.
Really REALLY gonna miss everything from the height of where I'm at,
to the blue pool downstairs when I look out the balcony.

Ahh.... nostalgia has caught me.
Anyway, I feel like this post is somehow crappy in a way.
So i'm gonna stop talking now.

Well!!
Its not officially my birthday yet.
(Its on 24th Sept if anyone is plannin to get me a present :P)

But then today,
I celebrated it with my family anyway.
Haha.

Funny thing is, I didn't know we were going to!!
At first, it began with me telling my mom yesterday that I felt like going to Bangsar.
Why, you ask?

Well, for many who dunno, I used to live in Bangsar when I was a kid.
And even after I moved to my grandma's hse after that,
I always went shopping back there anyway.

Ngehehehe.
To think, I was a filthy rich kid back then.
Eating buffet for lunch almost every day....
Bwahahahaha!!!
Hard to believe, eh?

Oh how I always wonder how my life would've been if I never left Bangsar.
Stayed filthy rich. Being spoiled with the luxuries of the world.
I'd probably be good at some music instrument, own some fancy clothes,
and be studying overseas right now!!

Ah, the possibilities of life can take us that far...

So anyways,
I was feeling nostalgic so I asked my mom to bring us there.
And she agreed to bring us.
So today, we went and just headed straight for The Bangsar Shopping Center.

It was only after we arrived there,
that my sister told me we were celebrating my bday today.
I was like "What?" and she said, "I thought you knew".
So I thought, okay. Surprise to me! Lol.

Along the way there,
I managed to recognize many landmarks and areas,
even tho I havent been here in quite a long time.

But once I got inside, I realised that Bangsar had indeed, changed alot.
Many of the old shops and crowds were gone.
It was even more fancy and high class.

So high class, that you can't even see a single low class/ fast food restaurant!!
And by the looks of the people there,
they seemed to show an air of "rich people look" XD

I kept thinking to myself: "I used to be one of them.."
And I laughed with joy at the thought.
Ahhh, good to relive the good old days~

But, I would not just go all the way to my old childhood town,
without bringing in a new me back to it!!

Ofcourse, I showed my old hometown the camwhoring side of me! XD

And so, we left Bangsar Shopping Complex to search for dinner.

Which after awhile, we ended up going to another old place I used to go to.
Hankyu Jaya!! (Duno isit spelt like tht.. sthn like "hankie + thank you" mixed 2getha XD)
Though now its been changed to Bangsar Village.

Inside, there were loads of cool stuff.
Cool restaurants and shops too!

But I didn't dare take too many photos of them,
since I didn't wanna seem like a tourist!

This restaurant was fancy.
I didn't get a clear picture but it was quite a sight!

Finally, we stopped at Nando's for my bday dinner.
I still can't believe we're celebrating my bday early!! Here!!!

So, thats how I spent my bday celebration I guess.
At a place where I began my life.
With old memories, and today, including new memories!!

Tomorrow, mom says she'll bring us to Sunway Pyramid for Ice Skating.
Cool huh?
2nd part of my birthday celebration, I suppose?

My mom says she noe how to skate... even though we don't!!
So I'm really looking forward to see how she skates hahahahahaha!!!

This is perhaps one of those rare posts where I talk about celebrity news.
Recently, it seems that everyone is talking about the same thing.
Twitter, blogs, E-News, and Facebook.
There are more I'm sure, but I haven't gotten there yet.

What's the hot news u ask?
Its none other than...
Kanye West stealing Taylor Swift's moment on stage at the VMA's!!
Seriously, not cool dude.

Which is why I'm dedicating this whole blog post in honor of Taylor Swift.
I never really liked Kanye West much anyway.
Didn't hate him back then, but now I just feel he's pathetic.
Who goes on stage to steal a 19yo girl's first award moment?

On stage, as Taylor was giving her acceptance speech, he grabbed the mic from her and proclaimed, “Yo, Taylor — I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of th best videos of all time!!”

He was immediately kicked out of the VMA's i heard.
But after that when Beyonce actually won the best video of the YEAR!!!
She called Taylor back on stage to have her moment.
I applaud her for doing that. Real class act, Beyonce. =)

When Beyonce won Video of the Year for "Single Ladies"she remembered her first VMA nomination, "It was one of the most exciting moments in my life, so I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment." The two embraced and Swift said, "Maybe we can try this again."

Since then, Kanye West has been saying how sorry he is about what happened.
He kept mentioning wanting to apologize to Taylor Swift in person,
but in an interview, Taylor said that Kanye didn't even send her an e-mail or phone call to apologize.

So much for an apology!!

The fans haven't been exactly kind to Kanye.
He seems to be on everyone's hate list.
Even the celebrities!!!
Not that I'm complaining.
He really deserves it.

Don't take this post the wrong way.
I'm not a crazed fan on Taylor Swift trying to vent here.

Its just that I feel that Kanye went too far with his little act,
and I feel that I should do something for Taylor Swift,
who definitely is living the dream at a young age of 19,
getting her first award as well as being the first country singer to get a VMA Award.

My dream.
I mean, I'm 19yo now (almost!) and if I could be where she is now, wow.
So I think NO ONE should have their dream moment ruined like that.

My message to Taylor Swift: You're amazing at what you do and I definitely enjoy your music. Don't let anyone ruin your dream moment at anytime. Enjoy the life you have now and don't give a rat's arse to all the "cockroaches" trying to mess you up. Just use bug spray. :P

I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. President of the United States, Barack Obama, had something say about this too!
He called Kanye West, I quote, "a jackass".
LOL!!!

He's officially the coolest president ever HAHAHA!!!!

Either way,
my final and simple message to Taylor, is keep rocking.
To Kanye, you suck.

1:24 AM: Bye Bye, Mr. Turtle a.k.a Guai Zai

The house has been rather quite these past few days.
It lacked the usual splashing sound that I have come to love and miss.

On the 6th of Sept, me and my family went to Tian Hou Temple.
We brought our tortoises with us there to let them go.
Mom told us they were too big to fit in our small tank already.
So we had no choice but to do so.

We've been with these 3 "guai zai" (tortoises in cantonese) for a long time.
And when we had to let them go, it was really a sad moment.
Me and my bro and sis have been trying to delay this day for quite some time.
But, what must come, will come, afterall.

In the car, as we loaded them into a bucket,
it was as though they could sense they were being let go.
So "Me" turtle kept trying to claw its way out.

It was only after that, that "Sis" turtle tried to claw its way out too.
"Bro" turtle didn't budge much, probably coz of d lack of space..

Eventually, we got there and we brought them to a pond,
where we knew many other tortoises were at.
There, we finally let them free.

I'll mish eu sooooo much!!!

We placed them near the water, so they could go in themselves.

Honestly, it WAS a beautiful place to let them go free.
I was just worried that the water might be too deep for them.
And the other big tortoises will bully them.
But I guess I underestimate them.

I saw this odd-shaped shell tortoise.
Unique and cool. =)

I also spotted this reeeeli tiny tortoise hiding in the corner.
About the size of 3 of my fingers put together in width. Like a pebble.
I had to go reaaaallly close up just to get this shot.

Hope my tortoises will have a good life here.

I seriously will miss them tortoises.
I watched them grow so much with us.
I kinda understand how a parent would feel when their children are leaving, I suppose.

But I guess they will have a better life and freedom to grow here.
Just hope they can get enough food every day.
They are big eaters.
We spoil them i think. XP

1:04 AM: Happy Birthday, Hao Wen!! :)

This post is a belated birthday post haha.
Actually my baby cousin bro, Hao Wen, had his 3rd birthday party on 5th Sept.

I took only a few photos because of the lack of battery.
But I'm gonna post them up anyways.
Just so u guys can share how I feel towards his cuteness :P

F.Y.I., he is my only cousin to share the same birth month as me.
May not seem important to others,
but it makes me very happy to finally see,
that even if none of my siblings or cousins are anywhere close to my age (except Sara),
at least I have one cousin bro that has a birthday close to mine =)

Me being the oldest in the family, definitely had its perks.
Most loved by all. Most spoiled by all haha. Up till Sara was born atleast.

But, being so diff in age with everyone has definitely made it hard 4 me to mix.
To relate with them. And in turn, I've gotta try to mix well with them anyways.
So, I think that's probably why I am less mature than other guys hahaha!!

But its good I guess.
Being a kid, they have no worries like us do.
Lets hope their innocence last longer than ours did.
