Right.
So I promised u guys an update this weekend.
But the thing is, I'm too excited to post anything other than what happened today!!

Haha.
Seriously it was a good day :)
Let me explain.

As u all know, Kelly Clarkson is comin down to KL for a concert this 25th April!!!
So I went to buy my Kelly Clarkson tickets today.
I thought I'd be getting the rm99 (cheapest & free-seating) tickets.

But then they said they had these games going on in awhile,
hosted by Jin frm hitz.fm, and I thought I'd give it a try n win me some tickets.
I had to go on stage and play Guess That Kelly Clarkson Song.



And... guess what? I WON!!!
Guessed 6 out of 8 songs.

I ofcoz knew the other 2 song names as well, but some ppl beat me to it.
I was too quick for the rest of the 6 songs tho!!
Jin was getting tired of seeing only me raise my hand all d time I think!! XDD


So anyway, I got me all these awesome goodie bags frm Sony Ericsson (loads of stuff!),
and Sembonia (rm50 voucher tht i hv no use for except give it 2 my mom, and a recycle bag) as well as TWO COMPLEMENTARY Kelly Clarkson concert tickets!!!


The tickets tht i got were worth the rm288 seats.
The ones right up front near the stage!! COOL RIGHT?!
I'm totally stoked abt it right now.
Did not expect it AT ALL!!! :D


Ofcoz, we did some window shopping and visiting frens after that,
but its all small stuff compared to getting FREE FRONT ROW SEATS to watch Kelly Clarkson!!
Hahahaha.



As u can see, I'm still in my happy place now.
Not going anywhere for quite some time I'm guessing hahaha...
So either way, hopefully I'll remember to post up something soon :)

Oh God, I was literally dancing whn I heard the results!!
And a moment there before results was announced I think I did something with my jaw...
Now its aching like i cracked it or sthn... lol...

Oh well.
Its not like it was ME winning...
Haha.
But still,
glad to see him win.
He seriously deserves it. =)



Anyway,
I didn't say everything in the world was perfect becoz ONE GUY won a God damn competition...
I say its perfect becoz I'm also going to go to Genting Highlands with Sara n V.Shian 2moro!!

Thanks to American Idol I managed to get up by 8.15am xD
Awesome finale.

A really WOW moment when Bikini Girl actually got up on stage and sang.
Yes.
She was wearing JUST A BIKINI again.
A little too tanned if u asked me.
She gained some weight too.

And for God's sake,
can her boob job be any more obvious????


Anyway, the WoW moment didn't start until I saw Idol judge, Kara Dioguardi,
get up on stage and duelled the song with her.

WOW!
Kara can sing!!
And lol, half way through the song,
she ripped open her buttoned-up dress/coat and showed that she could look just as hot in a bikini!!
Kara totally kicked her ass and deflated her boob job LOL!!


Hahaha.
Damn funny season this year.


Oh great,
I'm talking abt Idol again.
Sigh,
hear it for the last time ladies n gentlemen.
Coz it won't be showing again until next yr January.
Sobs.


Anyway,
If I don't blog tonight I probably won't be blogging until Sat or Sun night.
I'll be back in KL by Sat evening,
but I dunno if I'll be able to upload the photos on time,
or if I'll be too wiped out to even switch on the computer xDD

Lately I've been plagued by many "Do You Know xxx?" quizzes in Facebook.
And this makes me realise how little I know a lot of my friends.

Even those that I score well at, its mostly because I guessed it right based on their personalities.
Though, I guess its only fair since in my quiz,
almost everyone got 25% correct only..

Only the unexpected, Pei Ru (chi yan's cousin sis whom i rarely ever meet),
managed to score the highest of 75% correct.
When I asked, she said she had no idea how it happened and it was probably "divine intervention" hahaha~

Then there was Amy who scored 62%.
Haha, at least the last few months spent with her wasnt a waste la!
Professor memang professor!! xDD

I guess this teaches us that we all need to get to know our own friends much better..
And that we don't know them as well as we thought we did...



Anyway,
moving on to a more interesting topic.
Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are to duel it out for the title of American Idol of Season 8 next week!!!

Well, I'm all for Kris Allen!!
Especially after this week where he sang Apologize by One Republic n Heartless by Kanye West.
I got his studio version of both songs hahahaha.


Was especially amazed with his version of Heartless.
I rmb when he announced that he would be doing that song,
my heart almost stopped.

I was like... "WTF????!! That song is crap!!"
And I was so damn worried...
But once I heard him completely strip down that techno/digital-filled song into acoustic version,
I was even more shocked!

It was actually good!!!
From a song that I hated, he managed to change it into one that I loved lol~
True genius.


As for Adam Lambert,
Sigh...
I used to be a huge fan of his.
But after hearing him scream his way through every week,
it is starting to get annoying.

I mean, I can't deny he's got talent,
but I just can't imagine hearing him scream every song in a CD in my car for a continuous one whole hour!!


Oh well..
We'll have to see what next week brings then.

before I'm done talking about Idol,
Jordin Sparks came to perform her new single from her album coming out this July,
called "Battlefield".

God, was it an awesome song!!
Its a song describing love being like a battlefield..
And at the end of the song she sang "So you better go get your armor!"

Haha.
Awesome.
Plus, she's looking more hot than before!!
Woot woot!!

So moving on.
Awaaaaay from Idol land xDD

My plans for Melaka trip is finally succeeding!!!
After waiting for Sara's LONG ANSWER!!!
And convincing her mom,
she finally got permission to go to Melaka as well.
So V.Shian automatically said okay too.


And Vivian n Amy r definitely coming.
So it'll be the 5 of us against Melaka!!
Yeahhh!!

All thts left to confirm now,
is what time's bus ticket shud we get (nid 2 ask wif VS since he's gt exam til 3pm on the day we're goin),
and the hotel booking (nid 2 confirm wif Aunty Judy, a.k.a. VS's mom).


Then,
all we nid is our luggage and a camera then we're set to go!!


But...
There is still one other thing..
I just recently got reminded by my mom that I'm supposed to inform my dad abt the trip..
Damn.


I dun care la!
Even if he says no to the trip I'm still going!!
But I'll still let him know...
Maybe tonight...
Or 2moro...
Sigh.

Hate having to talk to him about stuff like this.

Okay,
another day at home.

So not much to blog.


So, I'll be blogging about American Idol today xP

Lolz.
I've been obsessed with American Idol since its Season 4 where Carrie Underwood won...
And now, its season 8.


First of all let me say....
Soooooooo unfair that Allison had to go home!!
Even though, Top 4 isn't too bad...

But i can't believe she lost to Danny Gokey!!
I mean... how could ANYONE lose to a person who can make a sound like this???
I mean, he sang it LIVE!!!
And survived to the next round??
Something must be wrong with the votes...




Horrifying right??

Feels like ur about to die right??


Well, if u wanna cure ur ears,
listen to Allison Ireheta's "Cry Baby".
This was her final performance and personally, I think the vocals were awesome.
Plus, she is only 17 years old!!!




Reli sad to see her go,
but hopefully, she'll follow in another Top 4 past contestant's footsteps:

He went down in the Top 4 b4,
but now,
we're freakin singing his songs in RedBox!!


Keep getting better Allison!!

But for now,
Since she is out I've gotta look for a new winner that I want 2 see champion the season.

He was supposed to be my choice for Top 2, with Adam Lambert at Top 3.

But since they kicked Allison,
things change!!

Kris's voice is quite good too!!
His songs like Falling Slowly and Ain't No Sunshine really were awesome..

And Adam...
Well, i cant deny he's got mad skills with his vocals.
He can hit notes I think that can even be compared with Mariah Carey hahaha!!
But there's just too much screaming so its just not my thing I guess.


In short?
Out with Gokey!!! xD

Another thing.

Today there was a lot of performances.

Like Chris Daughtry?
He sang his latest single "No Surprise" which was pretty good.

And then,
there was Paula Abdul, one of the American Idol judges,
that also sang live for the first time on the Idol Stage.
She did "Here For The Music".

Seriously,
the vocals were just okay.
But over all the choreography, the moves, and the song,
it was pretty awesome :P
