Holiday is ending... real soon!!
New year and semester is gonna begin next monday.

Sigh, wish I could extend it longer but I guess I ain't no time-stopper. =P
Either way, I did promise u guys Sara's Birthday Weekend post.
So I'll do it now.



Last weekend,
was my cousin sis Sara's birthday.
The 16th of August. A Sunday.

However, her birthday celebrations began on Saturday itself.
How come you ask?

Well, since Saturday morning,
Vee Shian, another close childhood friend (considered cousin) came over my hse.
He was staying over my palce while his family were at Melaka.
So that we could celebrate Sara's bday together tomorrow.

So we decided to head to Midvalley in search of Sara's birthday present.
My mom dropped us there ofcourse,
and it only took us like 1/2hr to find and choose her birthday gifts.
An aroma USB fan and a cute little photo frame.


While there, I managed to bump into Soon Seong,
whom I haven't met since last year I think.
And even Yu Jia said she walked past me but I didn't see her though.


Anyway,
we bought the gifts and took the bus back to my mom's shop to get the car.
In total, we only spent rm5 for food and transport.
The cheapest outing I've ever been to!!!

The presents on the other hand, i'm not gonna say the price.
But it wasn't cheap!!



So after we got the car,
I drove VS and I back home to get some photos from my PC.
Then, we drove back out again nearby my mom's shop.
We went to Parkson and got the photos developed.
While waiting, we roamed the small building till there was nothing left to be seen.


Around 5pm, the photos were developed.
We made some minor adjustments to the photos and fitted them into the frame.
Then we drove to pick up my mom and headed home.

By 6.30pm,
we were out of the house AGAIN!!
This time headed to Sara's house for a family dinner.
So, this is where Sara's birthday celebration began.


Turns out, we weren't the only ones who gave Sara presents.
She had already had a gang of friends meeting up with her earlier in the morning,
and she was loaded with gifts already.
None as nice as our gifts ofcourse~ /GG

So the feast commenced.
And after the feast only did Sara begin opening her presents.

Later that night,
Sara came to stay over at my place as well.

So we spent the entire night chatting from the balcony to the room.
Spillin each other's latest news and secrets.
Just sharing since we know we can trust each other,
seeing as we have known each other our whole lives!!!

And then even when we couldn't stay awake any longer,
since me and Vee Shian have been busying ourselves since early morning,
we tried ordering for McDonalds delivery since we couldn't go out at 3.ooam!!

But that McD....
"Sorry sir, but we can only process your order by 4am.. so ur delivery will arrive around 4.30am... is that ok with u?"
Lol... we straight say nvm and then went to sleep.


What was McD's excuse?
Too many ppl ordering.
In the middle of the night... ghost ordering a?? =.=''



Day 2: Sara's Actual Birthday!!

So, we headed out to Times Square the next morning.
Fully exhausted might I add!!
Seeing as how little sleep we got yesterday...
But we still managed to sing k with our eyes half open.
And then roamed around Times Square b4 eating at Secret Recipe.

We didn't linger there for long.
By 3.30pm we were already leaving Times Square.
And b4 we reached out stop in the LRT, we foudn that we were the only ones in that part of the LRT!!

So naturally.....

So when we got back to Sri Petaling LRT station,
my mom picked us up again.
And when we got back home, Vee Shian's mom picked him up.
While Sara, stayed longer so that she could join us to go jogging!!

This time's jog was rather fun coz we had races uphill and stuff like that.
And it rained half way too so it was cool!

Then, there was also the time when we got too exhausted to move anymore,
that we stopped to just camwhore XD



This particular photo means alot to me.
Becoz exactly 1 year ago, the four of us took this same photo.
In this same spot, in the same pose.
And now one year later, I can see how much we have changed.
And its good to knw that we have indeed, changed. =)

After our photo session and jog,
we left for dinner and dessert at Sweet Bean,
before Sara's parents came to pick her up for their own mini celebration.
Then, finally, I got to go home and just rest!!

I fell asleep a couple of times on the couch b4 finally deciding to go fall asleep officially.
But either way, it was a fun-filled weekend.
I wouldn't invest this much time and money and celebrate with just anyone like that!
Probably just Sara, Vee Shian and a bunch of close friends. =)
