Me. My Life. And Crap.

Friday, June 5, 2009 @ 11:27 PM: Seeing Stars!!
Ahh today has been a roller coaster of moods.
Mostly good, but some annoying as well.

This morning I had my Public Speaking class with Ms.Padma.
It was quite fun to learn about this topic coz,
I absolutely suck at public speaking!!

Though I have to admit,
I didn't really focus that much in class today.
I only listened to the main points n stuff coz I was just too sleepy!!

But I did participate in a publich speaking opportunity.
My lecturer asked all of us to prepare a speech topic to present in front of the class.
The topic was "What Have I Achieved Since I Woke Up Until 10:30am This Morning?"
Tough right?

I mean,
I wasn't really in the mood to achieve much so early in the morning.
It already took a miracle to get to college!! (That was what my achievement was xD)

But still..
Ms.Padma said each table ahd to send out ONE representative to speak.
My table only 3ppl. (me, Francis and another guy)

Obviously,
that Francis immediately started pushing away the idea of speaking in front of the class,
and kept telling me we should make the other guy in out table go front to speak.
Swt.

No offense,
but he's so damn chicken.
I, thought to myself, that I should go front anyways.
No matter how afraid I was!!

Because if its one thing I know & have learnt,
its that you can get over stage fright through practice, experience, and self-confidence.
So, I voted myself to go up front to speak.

God,
was I nervous!!
But I managed to get a response from the crowd anyways.
And by the end, I was given the rating of 5 or 6 out of 10 by my class.
Their only crititisms were that they didnt fully understand my achievements at the end,
and that I kept fidgiting with my sleeves.

Seriously,
I didnt know I was doing that!!!
I was so nervous.
Plus, I was wearing my long sleeved shirt so i was always used to pushing it up.
It was an automatic thing!!
Oh well.

Anyway,
after class,
me and Francis went down to the 1st Floor to wait for Amy to arrive.
Then,
Cynthia made us stay to watch a performance by a guy call Beau Bristow.
I wasnt all so sure about staying because it didnt seem like much.
But I stayed anyway.

And I ended up chatting with one of the crew members, David,
who was really awesome,
and played the African drums during the show.

We chatted quite abit about life in Malaysia,
and then I asked him in turn about where he came from.
Turns out they were from Nashville, Tennessee!!

Same place where American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler,
and teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus (a.k.a. Hannah Montana),
comes from!!!

After that,
I saw their preview performance and was blown away.
It wasn't like he had the most powerful voice of all.
But it was more of the fact that he sang from his own experience,
and that his songs were very relaxed.

Sigh.
I think I've just got addicted to yet another singer!!
Seeing another star added up in my sky full of famous stars now.
Lol.

I seriously am inspired by him.
And after that,
I took some photos with him ofcourse!! xDD

Beau Bristow and I.

Beau's crew/friends.
The guy in grey is David.
A very cool guy.
Got to chat with him quite alot!!

Our group photo!!

Well after that,
we went to Uncle John's to eat again!!
Sigh...
Seriously running out of food choices...
Always Nissin Noodles!!! ==''

Anyways..
Vivian came over after awhile and joined us,
then photo taking resumed haha!

I dun like being behind or in the middle..
Makes me feel like some creepy thing appearing outta nowhere..

Hahaha!!!
Luvin this pic.
But seems like theres a whole lotta peace signs!!! xDD

Ah Vang n Prof xD

Right.
So after that,
Ms.Jaime's English Composition 2 class.

The class was about APA format today so it was quite boring.
But after awhile, class seemed to be ending soon.

Miss Jaime asked us each to choose a movie and tell tell her the movie.
And I thought nothing of it and chose Monster-in-Law.

But then,
it turned out that the movie we chose would determine our research topic!!
Because I chose that movie,
it was related to mother-in-laws,
i had the topic of The Myths of Mother-in-Laws!!!

My God....
That is seriously tough!!!
Especially when it comes to finding references!!

Miss Jaime said I could choose a dif topic and let her know next week if I want.
But she still said this topic was a good one, interesting and unique as well.
I dunno if I'll change it,
but if I do find a better topic,
I probably will.

Anyway,
Ms.Jaime's class ending early only meant that we would be able to make it to Beau Bristow's performance!!

Awesome!!

Sound check. One.. Two.. Three..

I dunno what is that gismo down there..
But it is seriously awesome!!
It allows Beau to record whatever he plays or sings, so that even if he stops singing,
or playing certain notes,
it will keep repeating itself so this way it can allow him to seem like he's playing two to three different types of guitars at the same time!!
Cool eh?

Beau Bristow every1!!

That's David on the African drums at the left.
I like this guy. He's very cool and nice to talk to.
Plus, he's really awesome on the drums!!

Overall,
I have no complaints with this performance.
The vocals and music was just to my liking.
My only regret was that there was too many audience!!

If they had reduced audience number I just might've danced right there hahaha!!

Autograph session!!

Lolz.
Well, normally u've gotta buy the Cd to get an autograph...
But me, Vivian and Amy didn't have the money to buy it. (rm25 each)
So instead,
we asked him to sign his name card hahaha!!!!

Beau and Amy!!

Beau and I again!!

Vivian

Hmm.. seriously wondering wats up with my photos lately..
Cant seem to take a decent photo anymore..

Amy~

Ohh yeah.
Definitely a good day.

Or, a good day atleast until we got on the bus.
On the bus, I called Sara to confirm on tomorrow's outing plans.
She told me all was fine, but then,
she had to cancel our Monday outing with Chi Yan.

I asked her why,
since she had told me she had made no plans with friends,
so it was safe to say she would not FFK this time...

But then,
she said that she couldn't go because Lydia (c.yan's cousin) told her not to go,
"forced her not to go" were the exact words Sara said if I'm not mistaken.

God, that got my blood boiling.
I straight asked her.
"Lydia ask you not to go, to FFK, then u FFK... who is she? Ur mom a?"

Let me get something straight.
I'm not angry at or blaming Lydia at all.
I understand what's going on but I won't say much there.

I'm not angry that Sara is ditching me and Chi Yan for her friends either.

What really got me pissed off was that Sara didn't know how to think for herself.
She didn't know how to control her own life.
Someone tells her something, she follows.

I would've thought that she would atleast have the conscience to follow through this time.
She had FFK on me many times already.
I already made sure she wouldn't FFK this time,
even made her promise since she said she had no other plans.
But yet, she managed to do it anyways.

I'm getting really sick and tired of having to keep inviting her out,
only ending up having her to FFK time after time,
and making me look like this desperate guy who must make her follow me out.

I'm really dissapointed in her that she can't get her priorities straight.
That she can't think for own self and feel what is right.
I really am speechless towards her now.
I honestly dunno what else I can tell her.

I'll just let her decide whatever she wants to do with her life.
That is if she can keep it within her own control long enough...
I don't care anymore.
If this keeps up just a little bit more,
I think I'll stop inviting her out altogether at all.
Since its gonna be pointless anyway.

But besides for this small little hiccup,
my day has been going well so far.
Awesome, I might even say.

Nitey nitez then~
