Well, today was certain one of those days i could say..
"i'm never gonna forget for quite some time!!"



Today, we met for our filming of our 5min clip in Advycca's aunt's hse.



At 9am, we gathered at the bus stop outside our college & waited for Advycca to pick us up.
When we got to her hosue, I have to say, it looked very nice!!
There was this little pond right inside the house.

seems lik it shouldn't be there, but yet, it is! :P

The entrance main gate was small, but automatic and had that garden wooden gate look.
The front porch was also filled with grass to look more like a garden.
There was even a little swinging chair hanging near the house door porch.
It was overall very very nice^^



Then we started to discuss how we were gona do our scenes and their dialogues before we began our first scene:

The kitchen scene.
Basically, tis jz the scene whre the mother (Nadhirah), hears a noise while washing dishes and goes to see whts going on.


Then, we did The Upstairs scene.
This one was just to show the noise was made by the daughter (Advycca) upstairs on her way down.


And from there, we jump to the next scene: The Indoor Dialogue scene.
Here, The "mom" asks where is the "daughter" going and she replies annoyed.


Then we move to The Outdoor Dialogue scene where the mother and daughter continue their conversation while the daughter tries to put on her shoes and leave.


After that, The Worried Mother scene. This part is whre we show the mother's close up shot worrying over her daughter while shouting to her to take care n be careful. This scene was quite tricky.

Had to do it a few times coz of the timing between dialogue lines and movement. xD



Then... there were my scenes!! We were supposed to do other scenes before mine but since we couldnt find the props on time, we skipped it for now, and will do it on Monday.


The Car accident scene.
For tis scene it jz shows me driving and then suddenly slams the brakes and horns coz the daughter n her friend had sped out of nowhere.
Personally, it was abit weird this scene. Especially my face expression!!! xDD
And i felt like the clip was abit too short at the end coz i kept pressing on to the horn for quite some time but Eng Kiat only filmed like 2 secs of the sound.

My opinion la!! :P



Then, again, we skipped a few scenes, and continued to mine.
For this scene, we went to the nearby police station.

The Surrendering scene.
Here, we actually wanted to do a scene where a we ask a policeman to pretend to catch me and send me to jail, but since they were so susah, need us to fill in duno wat forms... Jz for asking 1 policeman to hold my hands behind my back!!!

We jz changed it to me walking into the police station to surrender myself to the cops LoL!!



So thats about all we did. In total, our scenes put together was only about 1min+.
But the time it took us to film it was from 9.30am-2.30pm!!!!
Almost 5-6hours!!!


i now understand why movies in Hollywood take so long to film..



Honestly, i feel that there were alot of things we could've done better today.


I mean, 1st of all, no offence to anyone on my group, we should've chosen only one Director to tell us how to do the scenes.
While we could only give advice, the last decision still belonged to the Directors.
Thats why great movies usually only have 1 or 2 Directors.
In my opinion, Advycca should have been Director.
Coz this was her story and no1 knows this story better than her.
Even if they tried, they would fail.
Miserably. =)


But for us, we were like all trying to tell our point of view and way WE want the story to be told.
So in the end, there were a lot of conflicts of ideas.


There were even on occasions, some of them (I won't mention who!!) wanted their ideas to be used so much they even kept arguing about it even after almost 2-3 of us in the group kept saying we shouldn't!!



Again my opinion. Just my opinion.
I'm just saying what I think and feel.
You don't have to agree with me.
But...
Don't anyone judge me.



Sigh.
Hopefully Francis will be able to handle the editing alright.
Sometimes he tends to go overboard with certain editing ideas that goes against even the rest of the team. (sry ya francis^^.. jz my opinion, again!!)


Seriously. We suck.
But over all i think for a suckish team, we did pretty good.
I really hope it'll turn out fine in the end.


I've managed to get most of the clips and loaded it into my computer.
I would show u guys the whole thing but I'm afraid I might get murdered by my teammates if I did xD
So, I'll only show u guys one of MY scenes :P
