Me. My Life. And Crap.

Friday, October 3, 2008 @ 12:49 AM: Trip around.. KL!!
Okay, so maybe not the whole of KL, but 2day my dad decided that we should go visit Putrajaya since its been here forever and we've never actually seen it before so.. why not! It took us like, almost 45 mins to find the place and get it... But when we got there, it was like a ghosttown!!! It was so empty except for some cars and tourists. But overall it looked vry decent and nice.

took this one whn we jz arrived.

the overall view of the place.

seems deserted. quiet. but looks cool.

evrythin looks weird. Weird-shaped lampposts, trafficlights, & Eve-shaped pillars xD.

Istana Kehakiman. Just thought its design looks cool.

Well, now that we've pretty much seen the overall place, we tried to search for food. In the end, we found a small area packed with tourists. Civilisation!!! There was a playground, some tourist gift shops, and a foodcourt. But even so, we never ate there, thinking that there would be a shopping complex somewhere there.

the only place where life seems to exist.

my sis tryin out a pair of shades.

my bro messin around.

Unfortunately, we weren't in such luck and ended up circling Putrajaya for almost 1/2 an hour and heading over to Cyberjaya to continue our search without a single drop of water since that morning! After 1hr+ of searching, we all gave in to exhausted, humidity, and hunger, and decided to head back to a more familiar place for food. In the end, we lunched at Leo's. Yummy!!

enjoyed my Nissin noodles and drink, Top 10 Award. xD

But while we were eating, my dad suggested going to Batu Caves before we end our day! i was like, wth?! But in the end, we said, fine. Let's go. Besides, I wouldn't want to do this again for a long time so we might as well make the best of the day!! So, at 4pm, we left Leo's and headed of to Batu Caves. Honestly, I've nvr been thr b4 so i was quite interesting to be going thr. So, at first, my mom said that we would have to walk 100 steps to reach the top of the cave and into the temple. So I thought, sounds okay. But when we got there.. turns out it was actually 272 steps!!!

arrived at Batu Caves. look at those stairs!!!

mom n sis half way up the stairs. catchin our breath.

finally! almost at the top!!

*whistles* thats a long way down. Better not slip xD

the entrance into the cave.

The cave looked amazing inside. Though i could hv did well w/o the dripping cave water on my face & in my eye!! But overall, amazing sight. Inside, there were many more stairs but not as much. And there were also small shrines inside for u to pray. I did, and got a white mark on my forehead like those I normally see on indians =P. Was sooo cool!! Wish i could've spotted some bats though. Would hv been freakin awesome!!

the inside of the cave. (p.s. the guy in blue shirt n jeans is my dad)

more stairs inside!!!

the inside view of the cave is so magnificient.

jz went for prayers and gt white marks on our forehead. kewl!!!

the interior of the cave is just so amazing!

After all that fun, we decided to head back home. Which brought us to the least fun part of the idea: we had to walk back down the 272 steps! Trust me, it isn't as easy as you would think! Walking down the stairs was exhausting as well!! Anyway, after that we went home and spent the rest of the night lazing around, paralyzed. And.. that's it!
