Ok, 3 days late to post this entry, but still.. This year's birthday was brilliant!! Cool!! Amazing!! Rocking!! Unbelievable!! Just plain AWESOME!!
Right, you must be expecting some sort of huge century birthday party or something, but no. Not even close!! In fact, it didn't even involve a cake!! But before i brag on, let me just say a big thank you to all my friends who celebrated with me, who wished me, who sent me sms and comments, who just even remembered my birthday!! Coz, in all my birthday years, I have never recieve this much greetings in my life!!

1. Ok, so the 1st few ppl who actually celebrated with me was a few days before my actual birthday. It was none other than Mei Yee and Wai Keat. At 1st, Sy Yuhn was gonna come along but she had some last minute stuff to do so she couldn't make it. It's ok. It's the thought that counts ;). So anyway, we went to midvalley and bought tickets to watch Death Race. Then we headed to find food. Mei Yee suggested Madam Kwan's so we thought of trying it. But once we were seated, we found that the price was beyond what I would normally pay for food like this (the Nasi Lemak was rm14.50!!). So when we wanted to leave, A waiter appeared and got rdy 2 take our order, but.. I quickly pretended to take out my phone and say that Sy yuhn was gonna meet us at Mph now, so we had to leave 1st. LOL. You should have seen the 3 of us, walking out of there resisting laughing!! Anyway, we ended up eating at Secret Recipe and they gave me a Seed wallet from the both of them and Sy Yuhn and Cha Sing as well. It was really cool. My 1st leather wallet hahaha... We spent the rest of the day watching Death Race and shopping before we left for home.

2. Now, a day before my birthday, I was still studying today. Before class, Sara had given me a present in the car and told me to open it only on my birthday. Ok. So i had to take a bus home after class. So when I almost reached my 1st stop at Midvalley, my mom asked me to wait there because they were gonna be headin over as well. They asked me not to eat lunch while waiting for them coz they had bought me Pan Mee at home. So I went to Mph and bought some fries to munch on while waiting. But once she got here, i found my whole family there as well! And they got a me a present as well!! And they said they didn't want me to eat only because they wanted to eat with me. The Pan Mee was just a distraction. Haha. So we ended up eating Chicken Chop for lunch, and then spent the rest of the day shopping for clothes. Mostly window shopping coz there wasn't anything nice. Mom bought a T-shirt though. That night, I waited till Midnight before opening my gifts, then when I did, i saw that Sara had gave me a cool pencil case to replace my old one. It was a really nice pencil case!! Hehehe. As for my mom, I would never have imagined this gift!! It was a huge packet of Slai O'lai biscuits!!! The most amazing gift I ever got to be honest. To others, its just biscuits. To me, its the thing that kept me alive and sane in NS camp. It tasted like heaven then, just as it did now. I'll show you 1 sample picture later on in the entry. Then, the greetings started pouring in everywhere.

3. Right. Officially my birthday now. 24th Sept. And I spent the day being showered in birthday greetings in Friendster and through SmS. But that morning, I woke up at 9.30am and got ready to head to Times Square to meet up with the beans (may kheng, kai li, grace, sheng hao). Once there, we went shopping a little before we finally decided to eat. Then, we decided to eat while we sang. So we went over to Sg Wang's Green Box to spend the afternoon. That afternoon, we went psycho and nearly tore down the roof! Every song, we sang at the top of our lungs. Most fun of all, was the song "朋友" by Jackie Cheung. Shout it out!! Then they handed me my present and we continued shopping after that. We also went to take lots n lots of photos for memories^^. Was awesome! After walking for about another hour, we went to eat AGAIN at McDonalds before heading home. But Me and Sheng Hao postponed our ride home to wait for May Kheng's brother to come and fetch her. But once me & Sheng Hao got into the lrt & arrived at the Tasik Selatan station, they asked us all to get off the lrt becoz of sum sort of thing goin on in the front tracks. So me and Sheng Hao spent the next 2 hours trying to find a taxi and ended up calling my parents to come find us haha. Really something to remember on my 18th Birthday xDD.
It was not until the next day that I realised the thing going on that caused the lrt to stop at Tasik Selatan station was actually an accident that happened further front in an earlier lrt. It hit me as a relief that we chose to wait for May Kheng to go home 1st. Because if we didn't, Me and Sheng Hao could have been stuck on that trainwreck and probably spending my 18th Birthday in a hospital!! I guess, there's a reason for everything. Not coincidence. =P

Well, basically, that's how I spent my 18th Birthday. I dunoo if any of you guys think its special, but to me it was. I wouldn't wish it to happen any other way. Even if you threw me a birthday party of the century!! In the end, what really mattered was that I had a lot of friends who were wiling to spend their time with me on this day. A lot of friends who even though couldn't find the time to, still managed to send me a greeting. Some ppl, I even never expected, remembered to wish me a Happy Birthday!! I seriously cannot stress how much that means to me. At least now I know that these are the true friends that I have and I think that no present in the world could have been more precious.

Err, sry abt the late entry but this past month has been a whirlwind experience! I barely had the time to breath. So, here's a little flashback to update you guys on my life this month.

1. Well, basically, this month was all about me getting used to my life in SeGI College. Ever since i got here, I've been quite unhappy and depressed. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the way things have been going: Classes are teached with fun (can't say the same for maths, but nothing perfect!), lecturers are cool, enviroment is better than b4, n transport is less troublesome! Classes are quite tough, but what's new? Although, I'll admit there are still stuff I miss about Tarc.
One of the most important... my friends!!! I really feel horrible that I had to leave them back there. And honestly, life isn't the same without them. Sure, I get to make new friends here, but... I don't know how to explain, but, well its just isn't. Okay. Well... they are nice friends and maybe its just that I haven't got to know them well enough yet, but I feel like its weird studying with people of different courses. Before this, everyone in the same class with me had the same dreams, the same target, almost same personalities, and well.. we could click! Now, friends that can click with me are like finding a needle in a haystack. Hopefully, I can get to know my new friends better and we can have what I had with my tarc friends someday. I really do hope so.

2. Okay, so life here is great. But not completely true!! I have to say, I have neveer feared food so much in my life before! First of all, the cafeteria food is acceptable in taste, but horrifyingly expensive!! As for the food in Summit, don't get me started!! I've already got some sort of horrible stomach/food poisoning/gastric sickness just by eating here. I mean, It's like every Monday I'm destined to fall ill!! The first time was when I was eating the Fish Ball Soup Noodles in a chinese shop (cant rememebr name) introduced by Sze Chenn. The 2nd times, was at another chinese food restaurant called Gardens. Here, I ordered sumthing like Koey Teow/Wat Dan Ho. At first, okay. It was okay. But then, came the pain!! In the end, it lasted till tuesday where I had to miss half of my english class.
Fine. Still Fine. THEN!! Sze Chenn said to give the 1st restaurant another chance again. So i did! And in the end I got stomach ache again. But this time, Sze Chenn also kena hahaha.... So i think next time we might stick to "healthy" fast food instead. xP

3. Well, mid-term is coming soon. Wait. No. it's here already. It's almost over? WTF!!! Swt la!!! Don't understand? Well, let's just say that the so-called midterms already was over by the time we figured out wat was going on. For my bio, our lecturer told us there was going to be a bio quiz. But no one took it seriously. Until it was over and everyone had gotten their marks (I got 37/50 correct^^), our lecturer finally told us that it was the mid-term. My heart nearly fell out of place! Luckily I didn't take the quiz lightly and read through some of the notes the night before. Otherwise, who knows what might've happened!!! So, I've managed to scrape a 7.4% out of 10% for my final exam already (the 7.4% is the 37 questions i got right^^). Hopefully I'll get an A for this subject!!
Another subject that surprised us, only surprised us this morning!!!! After class, Ms Laura suddenly announced that the Personal Narratives essay we wrote and handed in last week was actually our mid-term paper!! And I thought it was homework! And it sucked!!! Haiz.. hopefully, I did enought to get myself to scrape an A in the finals.
So, after getting these 2 shocks of my life, I'm not gonna be letting my guard down anytime soon for my Movies and Maths class. Who knows, they might suddenly give us an exam this friday. Or worse, we could've already handed it in, and not know!!! College can be such a scary and dangerous place xD...


So, thats about it. You've been updated to my current time. Ooo Ooo.. Oh ya, 1 more thing!! I got my hair cut last friday with wai keat^^. Its shorter now. But I'm gonna get it cut, dyed, and gonna do "relaxer" this december to prepare for the CNY^^. So keep your eyes out for those photos!! Coz once I'm done with this hair, it'll be magnifico!!! xD
