Now i can just chill and relax... for at least 3 weeks.

Bon Odori 2010

Wow.
Talk about neglecting your blog.

I haven't blogged since March, so thats like... FOUR MONTHS!!! O.O"
Sorry guys but University life just keeps getting hectic and crazier each day.
And when I do get the free time, I don't really feel like blogging much.
So I just update my Facebook status and hope its enough.

I would promise to blog more but I dunno if I can keep that promise.
So I'm just gonna hope that someone even reads my current entry for now :P

Anyway, yesterday was the all-amazing BON ODORI FESTIVAL!!
And this time it was a bit crazy because we went by car.

So, lacking the use of GPS, we arrived at the festival late,
despite us driving there 2 hours earlier!!!

Hahaha. We ended up in Klang instead of Shah Alam.
So u would see how lost we were... XD
By the time we got there, the parking was obviously alrdy full, and the cars had already parked all the way out to the side of the highway!!!

So what did we do?
We did what anyone would do for Bon Odori. Double Parking. LOL.

But we made sure the cars beside us could get out of course~ We're not THAT evil :P

So the night went amazingly.
Had lotsa fun and craziness with the gang.
And this year was even more packed with ppl than last year... which is saying something since last year was insanely packed!!!

This is just HALF of the crowd!!
The other half are behind me....

Tho the only down part of the entire thing was that it ended too soon.
I was supposed to meet up with some friends, but sadly, they weren't anywhere to be found.
And it was especially hard to contact them due to the lousy phone signal in the festival.

But oh well.
There's always next year ;)

Right.
So I promised u guys an update this weekend.
But the thing is, I'm too excited to post anything other than what happened today!!

Haha.
Seriously it was a good day :)
Let me explain.

As u all know, Kelly Clarkson is comin down to KL for a concert this 25th April!!!
So I went to buy my Kelly Clarkson tickets today.
I thought I'd be getting the rm99 (cheapest & free-seating) tickets.

But then they said they had these games going on in awhile,
hosted by Jin frm hitz.fm, and I thought I'd give it a try n win me some tickets.
I had to go on stage and play Guess That Kelly Clarkson Song.

Me and the other 4 contestants.
It may look as tho I'm d only 1 posing, lol...
But I'm actually lookin up at d huge crowd staring at us!!

But I was!! XDDD

And... guess what? I WON!!!
Guessed 6 out of 8 songs.

I ofcoz knew the other 2 song names as well, but some ppl beat me to it.
I was too quick for the rest of the 6 songs tho!!
Jin was getting tired of seeing only me raise my hand all d time I think!! XDD

Taken after I won the stuff.
I had a photo whr everyone asked me to stand on stage,
and a couple of cameras kept pointing at me. Bloody nervous!!!
But I'm not gona show u guys tht pic coz I look obviously still shaking!! XD

So anyway, I got me all these awesome goodie bags frm Sony Ericsson (loads of stuff!),
and Sembonia (rm50 voucher tht i hv no use for except give it 2 my mom, and a recycle bag) as well as TWO COMPLEMENTARY Kelly Clarkson concert tickets!!!

The tickets tht i got were worth the rm288 seats.
The ones right up front near the stage!! COOL RIGHT?!
I'm totally stoked abt it right now.
Did not expect it AT ALL!!! :D

Ofcoz, we did some window shopping and visiting frens after that,
but its all small stuff compared to getting FREE FRONT ROW SEATS to watch Kelly Clarkson!!
Hahahaha.

As u can see, I'm still in my happy place now.
Not going anywhere for quite some time I'm guessing hahaha...

Hello everyoneeeeeeeeee!!!

Anyone still here? If there is, I seriously thank you and am touched.
Because I know I've been M.I.A forever!!

My blog has digital spiderwebs now....

You see, I've been really addicted to Facebook, Twitter and Dailybooth these days.
Its kinda like doing mini blogging there these days since I add few sentences here and there.
So I'm really sorry about neglecting my blog.

Anyway, its late now and I've been sick for the past few days.
I'm just about getting better now but I can't take any chances!!

Feeling in quite a good mood.

But today's post is to introduce u guys to my latest blog playlist of songs.
Which, btw, u can find on the left side of my blog and enjoy~

Amazingly, I found the time to find some new songs, get addicted, and upload them!

So I decided to post them up here for u all to enjoy as well!!
Let me tell u guys about them one by one kay?
Let's start from the bottom, to the very most favourite of mine :)

8th: Telephone - Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce

Well! I guess there isn't much to introduce for this song.
Since it already is a fav for most people!

Lady Gaga has pretty much made her way into the hearts of ppl all over the world with her unique and "weird" music and fashion, may it be to be liked or disliked by ppl.

Personally, I love her!
I love a good celebrity/actor/singer that can be proud to be him/herself, without fear of being critisized.

And in this song, she features yet another big name in the music industry, Beyonce!
Seriously, who doesn't know of Beyonce??!

Anyway, back to the song, I think its a great duet for these two singers.
The song itself has a catchy beat, the lyrics are pretty good, and it doesn't hurt that both the singers are amazingly hot!! =)

7th: Robot Love - Allison Iraheta

This song, is from Allison's debut album "Just Like You".
It hasn't got much response yet, but I find it quite catchy~

For those who dunno, Allison Iraheta is last year's 3rd runner up in the hit reality TV show, American Idol!!
She's 18yo this year, but her vocals are easily comparable with many rockers out there!!

6th: Friday I'll Be Over U - Allison Iraheta

Once again, another song from Allison's debut album "Just Like You".
However, this song happens to be her very first single from the album..
Her vocals mixed with the catchy tune, makes this song really cool!

As u might have guessed from the song title, this is a break-up song.
But I find this one more uplifting than most of the depressing break-up songs..

And I love this one for sure, wayy more than I love "Robot Love"!! :P

5th: Come Home - One Republic ft. Sara Bareilles

Hmm, I don't really know much about this song,
but I do know that there are two versions to it.
One with and one without Sara Bareilles.

Obviously I love this version with Sara Bareilles better!!
I haven't heard much from her recently, but have always loved her vocals.
Ever since her first hit song, "Love Song".

And the even more touching part of this song is, get this:
"The song “Come Home” dedicated to the US Troops. The song was inspired by friend of Ryan Tedder (Onerepublic’s lead vocal) who got engaged and then was shipped off to Iraq the next day."

An "awwww" moment right? XD

Justin Bieber is one of the singers that I have previously blogged about b4.
Just to refresh u guys on some of his bio, he is currently a 15/16yo Canadian kid who was founded by Usher.

Quite famous for his hit song "One Time" and "One Less Lonely Girl",
this song seems to stick on me longer than the other two mentioned :P

3rd: In My Head - Jason Derulo

Right. Well, this song I'm not really sure why, but I find it pretty good.
I don't know if it'll still be in my playlist next week,
or will I get bored of it soon which I think will happen... but right now, it ranks at no.3 in my fav songs to listen. =)

Now this song!!
Wow, I actually just knew of its existence earlier today!! XD

I saw a tweet Jordin wrote about this song called Art of Love making Platinum.
So I decided to check it out... and it turned out to be good!! Really good!!

Lol. Now this song was even random!!
I was looking up on AI stuff yesterday night, and suddenly wondered what happened to that amazing voice I heard a couple of seasons ago.
So I did some research, and found her MySpace site that had these few of her new singles.

All of them aren't out in the radios yet,
but I managed to find some videos of em in Youtube,
which I brilliantly converted to mp3 for ur listening pleasures!!

And this song in particular, is my fav so far.
I can't seem to get bored of it.
And my sister keeps bugging me to send it to her hp 4 her XDD

It'll probably take a few times of listening to this song b4 u'll really get to feel the song.
But once u do, ADDICTION!!! :P

Reunion and Outing

Well, better than being lazy and just posting one entry,
I decided to combine two of my entries for ur viewing pleasures :P

1st off, I had another 5a7 class gathering on the 10th of January.
But this time, much more people came!!
Really was an awesome night.

There really isn't much I can say to u guys except...
There was a lot of reminiscing and laughter going on~
And not to forget the photo sessions going on every five minutes or so!! XDD

Moving on!!
Which is another one more of my outing I had today with Wai Keat.
Ofcourse, joined by his sis and his cousin bro as well~

Seriously, I dunno how come I had such a bad start to today.
Not the trip was bad!!
More like how my day began...

I was supposed to wake up at 10am when I heard my alarm.
But I heard it and turned it off, lying down for awhile more.
I thought my 10.30am alarm would wake me up lol~

But then, the next thing I knew, Wai Keat was calling me asking if I was still asleep?
And I saw that it was 12.30pm already!!!
We had planned to meet around 12pm~

So I was 1/2hr late, and still not ready to go out yet!!
Damn damn damn I was thinking....
Luckily I was able to get ready in 10mins.

And so, the day continued smoothly.
Til we reached the Sunway Pyramid car park.
I actually opened the door too hard coz I didn't expect W.Keat's car door to be so loose!
I'm used to doors being hard to open XDD

And well, I pretty much hit the door onto the car beside me.
The Malay lady inside was quite annoyed,
despite the small "scratch" was able to be wiped off with her fingers.
And I had apologized repeatedly...

But then she kept staring at me like I was some criminal.. Ish...
Still not a good start to my day!!
The rest of the day, I kept holding tight onto my DSLR, fearing misfortune on it too!!
Luckily, misfortune stayed away the rest of the day.

And the outing was quite enjoyable!!
I even managed to get myself a new T-shirt for CNY at Padini Authentics! =D

Ah well, I'll let the photos do most of the talking...

Either way, my uncle and his family comes first!!!

Well, looks like my semester break is finally coming to an end.
And what a break it was!

I feel like I'm finally having a cuti-cuti Malaysia thing going on here haha!
Lets see, I went Melaka, Penang, Singapore, and lately Kampar.

But technically, kampar wasn't for a trip.
It was for an uncle's funeral.
Sigh, I'll miss him.
It was sad to see how all the relatives I've seen before become so old as well.

Ah well, treasure life everyone~

Right, so moving on.
I am proud to say, I have finally brought my best friend Chi Yan over to the dark side.
Muahahahahahaha!!!

And no, not with cookies!
With my DSLR camera hehe...

She who usually isn't used to taking photos,
got tempted by me to try out some modelling at her park after we hung out at The Curve.
It was a fun outing.

The Curve was mostly boring and lame,
but the fact that we haven't met in a few months really makes a lame place seem ok.

Back to the temptation XDD...
So as I said, I tempted her to try out a few pics.
But as we proceeded, it would seem someone got a little bit addicted to it.
Lol.

I couldnt stand not being in the camera AT ALL!! XDD

So today!!
Well, today hahaha.
I was in Midvalley pretty much the entire day~

I was supposed to go with Sara to watch Sherlock Holmes in the morning.
But the tickets were already sold out by the time we got there.
The only seats available were the front row of the cinema.
So no way in hell am I gonna blind myself sitting there!!!

Same thign happened when we tried to switch movies to Alvin and The Chipmunks 2..
So, we let it go and went off to find Wai Keat for lunch~
Didn't miss a chance to take some photos either..

Wai Keat has been hoping to take a photo with my DSLR since I told him about it! XD

So after that,
Sara and I just wandered around for abit...
Went to this Chocolate Fair taking photos of chocolates to tempt my mom..
Just for fun. :P

But by the end of the fair, we realised Sara had left something behind at the food court.
Typical Sara. Always forgetting stuff.
By the time we went back there, it was already gone.

Luckily it was nothing much important or expensive.
Tho the fact that she just bought it less than an hour ago, made it such a waste.
We went back to Midvalley area to buy it once again.
Swt.

Then, we went to QuikSilver to visit my dear bro Edward awhile,
before leaving back home.

If you think this is the end of my trip in MV tho,
you are SORELY MISTAKEN!!!

I only stayed home for an hour or so before going back there again with my family (minus dad)~
Watched Avatar at last!!! =D

I really gotta say...
Totally awesome movie!!!

The special effects were just the tip of the iceberg.
What really intrigued me was the imagination of James Cameron.
Who happens to be both the director of this movie as well as the previously famous Titanic.

The way he created this entire world of fascinating creatures, culture, tribes and language..
I really cannot begin to explain how fascinating that world is to me.
Just watching it made me feel like it was real.. like it really existed...
And how much I really wished I was there...

Its hard to explain to those who havent watched the movie yet.
But once u've watched it, u'll be amazed at the beauty of the world that is there.

Oh and btw, once u understand the true meaning of "I See You",
it kicks the phrase "I Love You" under the dump. XD

The meaning of this phrase, u guys can figure out for urselves.
But u really wanna know and watched the movie edi,
u can always ask me privately.

I don't provide spoilers here.

Anyway, truly amazing movie.
I used to wonder why my friends could go to the cinema jsut to watch this movie repeatedly..
Now I know why.
And I think I will go watch it again soon, the next chance I get!! XD

Oh, and a small fun fact about this movie:

Sounds hard to read, I know.
But its my favorite word so far... since its probably the only word I know lol~

But actually, its just read as "skaung"
The "x" is silent.

And it means MORON!!
Hahaha.

So thats about it for my post today I suppose.
College is starting back and I'm still not yet back in the mood.
Sigh... And results are out soon too.

But, all I can think of is Avatar now!!
So I'll probably watch it again next week haha~

Hey all!
Yeshhh! I'm blogging for the first time in 2010!!
Woohoo!!

Happy New Year!! XD

So far the new year has been kind to me,
but we'll see as the year proceeds... hopefully it'll be a great year to look forward to.

New Year resolutions?
Hmm... can't think of any.
Maybe the same as last year's, but just to improve myself more in those parts.
You know, continue getting more confident n sociable, improve on studies, that sort thing...

And it wouldn't hurt to get a girl friend this year b4 I officially hit 20yo!!
Lol.
Seriously, I'm feeling older as I speak.
And it doesn't help that SOME PEOPLE keep calling me old and reminding me as well =.=''

Anyway, just so u guys know,
nothing much happened these past few days since my last post.
Been quite a rainy season lately,
so lots of my plans to go out and jog or play with my DSLR has been foiled.
Sigh.

Still, I'm gonna go jog with Chi Yan tmr.
Or shud I say, Chi Yan will jog, while I'll follow along while trying to use my DSLR.. XD

At the end of the day, u will miss them so badly, so almost wish u could stay.

ALMOST!!
I wouldn't go back there again, despite all the bittersweet memories I had there.
Gatherings will do just fine to meet up with my bros hahaha!

Saying Goodbye to 2009!!

Wow.
When was my last post? (don't answer tht pls :P)

Its really has been a whirlwind ride since my last post.
I had to deal with loads of assignments and presentations.
Not to mention the horrible finals!!
Oh God, I wonder if I'll pass my Statistics... i went into the Exam Hall completely blank!!

Sigh. Don't care la.
Its OVER!!!

So moving on...
Like I said, a whirlwind of a time since my last post!!
I mentioned about going to Melaka right?
Well, besides Melaka, I also went to Penang and Singapore in the past week!!!
So you see how busy I became.

Before I knew it, its now 31st Dec 2009.
The last day of this year.
Wow, I say. Time really flies.
I can't believe I've neglected this blog for so long now!!

And I think I'm writing in very weird sentences now too.
Sorry about that.

Oh, and a very important news.
I finally got a DSLR camera!!!!
For those who dunno, its those big professional-looking cameras.

Woohooo!!! I'm so bloody happy, I tell u!!
My dream gift is a laptop and a DSLR.. So its really cool to get even one of them! :P

Really gotta thank my Uncle Keat frm Singapore.
He has always truly cared for me and my family.
I don't see that in many people, but in him, when he asks "how are you all doing?",
I can see and tell... that he really means it.
I can't even begin to describe how much this family owes him, and how much I love this uncle of mine.

This past Singapore trip, he didn't even let me spend a single cent!!
Not to mention buying me a DSLR just becoz he knows I luv Photography....
Can't wait to see him again when he comes down to KL in January :D

Anyway, I'll be posting up a few photos of each of my trips for u guys to take a look.
Can't post em all or it'll take too long!!
And i remember saying I'll post other past photos here right?

Well... I think its just accumulated so much I doubt I'll be able to post them all either.

Singapore Trip (24-26th Dec 09)

This is coz I've nvr been around Singapore ever!
The last time I was here, was 10yrs ago, and I stayed in my Uncle's hse only.**

The place u MUST GO when in Singapore.

Hey all!

Super short post here.
Just to say, sorry for my late updates.
College life is hectic lately.

And I won't say I'm not lazy, which I am!!! XD

Anyway, just got back from the cinema in MV with C.Kuan.
We watched the infamous movie "2012".
Let me tell u all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching it!!!
It is soooo worth ur rm12 (or rm7 if u hv student id)~

It makes The Day After Tomorrow seems like a kid's movie...
This movie shows the horror of what it would look like if the world was coming to an end.

And its all very realistic~
Everything that happens is scientifically proven.
At least in the movie it is XD

Anyway, go watch it, you guys.
I wouldn't mind watching it again with u guys hahaha.

Oh and btw, I'm headin off to Melaka again this Sunday.
This time, with my family for a real vacation!!
So if I'm gonna be posting anything anytime soon, it should be after I get back.

My Refrigerator

Well, this was just out of a crazy inspiration!!!
But I was up late one night looking for food,
and suddenly thought it would look nice to take a photo of the inside of my fridge!! XD

Enough said, that the photos weren't as good as I expected them to be.

Later that day, or night,
we went to Pavillion to celebrate my mom's birthday :)
And window shopping ofcourse.
Damn those things are expensive!!

Went into a shop called Tangs, and saw underwear for men.
Sold for rm65, rm79, and even rm89!!

I remember thinking: "Wow. Must be made of some special enhancer or something LOL!!"

Search for TTDI Park!!

Well, some of u may know, I'm in Photography class now.
And on the coming 20th November, I will be having a photoshoot field trip there.
And I will be doing a model photoshoot then.

But the problem is, we don't know where the place is or how it looks like.
So, I thought we should go search and take a look at the enviroment.
So that we can be prepared for it sooner.

I don't want to go there knowing nothing and just shooting photos blindly!!
Anyway, we ended up wasting half a tank of petrol that day.
But we managed to find the place somehow.

Sadly, it was a rainy day.
But that didn't stop us from grabbing our umbrellas and rush down to take some pics!! XD

Ahh well...
Since "someone" said my blog "gonna be a dead blog" soon on MSN just now...
I'll add a post here.

I'll be posting on my Melaka Trip post.
Well, sort of.

There's not much for me to say really.
It was a blast the entire day!!

I took loads of photos as you all know.
I myself, took about 800+ pics...
So, it took me ages to sort out the few thousand photos the 10 of us took that day!!

I managed to sort out a few of the photos I found to be the best.
And I did some minor editing to make some of them clearer.
So hopefully, you guys will luv the pics.

BTW.. its a mixture of people and scenic photos.
But mostly people photos since I am so lazy to choose out of the thousands of photos~
Its just much easier to see people pictures and remember if they are any good :P

Belated Update: My Birthday of 2009!!

Wow, where have I been?!!!
Its like I don't recognize my own blog anymore!!!
So quiet and dead here.

Damn, that would be my bad.
Anyway, I've been meaning to update for awhile now and finally,
I've got loooaaaads to update on!!!

So much has happened.
I mean, I even forgot to complete my update on my birthday outing!!
I'm supposed to do a post on my Melaka trip as well,
but right now I just got another couple thousand photos from Amy earlier,
so they might take quite some time to organize.

So I shall first post up the photos I took on my birthday.
I shall slowly continue posting up the rest of the entries I owe u guys k? :P

Now, I shall split these photos into a couple of parts.
Because apparently, my birthday was celebrated a couple of times before the actual day XD
The first part, I already posted up a few posts earlier.

Now, let me got onto the 2nd part. Which is on the 21st Sept at Sunway Pyramid.
Now this day was really a crazy day.
I spent almsot 12hrs in Sunway Pyramid, walking around with my family.

4hours alone, was dedicated to Ice Skating and let me tell you,
never try it so long!!!

My legs killed me for 1 whole week after that.
And by the end of that day, I was limping all the way home, literally!!!

After Ice-Skating.
Now this, I asked a nice girl to help us take the pic.
Thx mysterious girl!!! =)

As you can see, skating on Hari Raya is not recommended.
Barely any space for us to move!!!
I just realised i was in there for 4hours.... OMG!!

Well after 4hrs of ice skating, we roamed around Sunway Pyramid.
At first, it was window shopping....
Then, it soon became getting my mom a almost rm1k necklace, getting my sis a new hp,
and then checking out new LCD TVs!!!

I really dunno what came over my dad.
But he sure reverted to normal when I said to go look at laptops.
Clammed up straight away!! =.=''

Either way, he did take us for dinner somewhere in there as well.
Somewhere fancy I might add!!
Thai Thai.

Yes, the place is called Thai Thai.
And if you haven't already noticed, its a thai food restaurant. :P
Personally, I give the place a rating of 11 out of 10!!!

The service there is good.
System is efficient and food is just divine!!
Not to mention the awesome interior design~

I doubt it could get any better than that!!
Well, the price could've gone down but then, I would be asking for too much!!

So now we move onto the third and final part of my birthday celebration for this year!!
The next day, Chi Yan and Win Jiun met up with me to head to Times Square.
To celebrate my birthday ofcourse!!

And if you guys dunno how big a deal this is,
let me tell you now it was a VERY BIG DEAL!!!!

The thing is, our Miss Au Chi Yan rarely ever leaves the house these days.
And so not only did she leave the hosue to celebrate my birthday,
she also sat an LRT to Times Square with us!!!

Wow!!! Right?
I mean, I've never ever seen her on an LRT b4 hahahaha!!!
Though I probably took the picture at a lousy timing and caught her in one of her more...
Err... sleepy look :P

Anyway, we headed straight for Low Yat as soon as we got off the LRT.
Why, you ask?

Well, here's another thing.
Miss Au Chi Yan here ofcourse, the great band singer herself,
decided to grace us with her presence in RedBox to sing alongside us!!!
Hahahahaha.

Ahh well, finally.
I was wondering when I would be able to sing k with her and Win Jiun.
I've known them since forever and yet, I've sung with so many ppl other than them!!
My dream has come true lol!

Note: The best song we combo-ed that day was Earth Song by Michael Jackson. :P

Anwyay, my mom was still out with my dad so Win Jiun dropped me at Chi Yan's hse.
While waiting for my transport, me and chi yan decided to go for a jog.
But a jog soon became a photo session when I whipped out my camera!!! XDD

There were many awesome sights around her housing area,
and we just couldnt miss out on any!! =D

Sorry bout the delayed posts.
I haven't updated on my Pulau Ketam or Melaka trip.
I feel like i've neglected my blog.

Its just that there are SO MANY PHOTOS!!!!!
Past 800 pics each trip.
And I can't seem to choose the nice ones out!!!

Oh, and there's my birthday post too.
Not much there but still I've gotta post SOMETHING!!
Which i will, soon.

Anyway,
yesterday was a big day for me.
Sorta.

Mom brought us to go see a house they had been eying on.
It was an old house actually but acceptable I thought.
It had four rooms, which was exactly what we wanted!!
And it was quite near where I'm living now.

The environment was okay too and besides some minor problems,
the place was a great place to rent and stay!!

But, that's when it sank in.
God, we were gonna leave our current home.
And by the time we got home, we were already missing everything.
From the door entrance, to the hot stuffy computer area.
To all the memories I've had sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night just to watch tv..

And my dad didnt like the new house anyway.
So my mom asked us to consider abit longer.
And at last, I thought, I couldn't say I like that house better than where I live now.
So thats when we all decided to try looking for some place better.

Seriously, it was a really close call.
We actually asked the estate agent to contact the owner already!!
Makes me kinda miss this house and how its gonna be away from it.
Really REALLY gonna miss everything from the height of where I'm at,
to the blue pool downstairs when I look out the balcony.

Ahh.... nostalgia has caught me.
Anyway, I feel like this post is somehow crappy in a way.
So i'm gonna stop talking now.

Well!!
Its not officially my birthday yet.
(Its on 24th Sept if anyone is plannin to get me a present :P)

But then today,
I celebrated it with my family anyway.
Haha.

Funny thing is, I didn't know we were going to!!
At first, it began with me telling my mom yesterday that I felt like going to Bangsar.
Why, you ask?

Well, for many who dunno, I used to live in Bangsar when I was a kid.
And even after I moved to my grandma's hse after that,
I always went shopping back there anyway.

Ngehehehe.
To think, I was a filthy rich kid back then.
Eating buffet for lunch almost every day....
Bwahahahaha!!!
Hard to believe, eh?

Oh how I always wonder how my life would've been if I never left Bangsar.
Stayed filthy rich. Being spoiled with the luxuries of the world.
I'd probably be good at some music instrument, own some fancy clothes,
and be studying overseas right now!!

Ah, the possibilities of life can take us that far...

So anyways,
I was feeling nostalgic so I asked my mom to bring us there.
And she agreed to bring us.
So today, we went and just headed straight for The Bangsar Shopping Center.

It was only after we arrived there,
that my sister told me we were celebrating my bday today.
I was like "What?" and she said, "I thought you knew".
So I thought, okay. Surprise to me! Lol.

Along the way there,
I managed to recognize many landmarks and areas,
even tho I havent been here in quite a long time.

But once I got inside, I realised that Bangsar had indeed, changed alot.
Many of the old shops and crowds were gone.
It was even more fancy and high class.

So high class, that you can't even see a single low class/ fast food restaurant!!
And by the looks of the people there,
they seemed to show an air of "rich people look" XD

I kept thinking to myself: "I used to be one of them.."
And I laughed with joy at the thought.
Ahhh, good to relive the good old days~

But, I would not just go all the way to my old childhood town,
without bringing in a new me back to it!!

Ofcourse, I showed my old hometown the camwhoring side of me! XD

Cool restaurants and shops too!

But I didn't dare take too many photos of them,
since I didn't wanna seem like a tourist!

Its none other than...
Kanye West stealing Taylor Swift's moment on stage at the VMA's!!
Seriously, not cool dude.

Which is why I'm dedicating this whole blog post in honor of Taylor Swift.
I never really liked Kanye West much anyway.
Didn't hate him back then, but now I just feel he's pathetic.
Who goes on stage to steal a 19yo girl's first award moment?

On stage, as Taylor was giving her acceptance speech, he grabbed the mic from her and proclaimed, “Yo, Taylor — I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of th best videos of all time!!”

He was immediately kicked out of the VMA's i heard.
But after that when Beyonce actually won the best video of the YEAR!!!
She called Taylor back on stage to have her moment.

He kept mentioning wanting to apologize to Taylor Swift in person,
but in an interview, Taylor said that Kanye didn't even send her an e-mail or phone call to apologize.

So much for an apology!!

The fans haven't been exactly kind to Kanye.
He seems to be on everyone's hate list.
Even the celebrities!!!
Not that I'm complaining.
He really deserves it.

Don't take this post the wrong way.
I'm not a crazed fan on Taylor Swift trying to vent here.

Its just that I feel that Kanye went too far with his little act,
and I feel that I should do something for Taylor Swift,
who definitely is living the dream at a young age of 19,
getting her first award as well as being the first country singer to get a VMA Award.

My dream.
I mean, I'm 19yo now (almost!) and if I could be where she is now, wow.
So I think NO ONE should have their dream moment ruined like that.

My message to Taylor Swift: You're amazing at what you do and I definitely enjoy your music. Don't let anyone ruin your dream moment at anytime. Enjoy the life you have now and don't give a rat's arse to all the "cockroaches" trying to mess you up. Just use bug spray. :P

The house has been rather quite these past few days.
It lacked the usual splashing sound that I have come to love and miss.

On the 6th of Sept, me and my family went to Tian Hou Temple.
We brought our tortoises with us there to let them go.
Mom told us they were too big to fit in our small tank already.
So we had no choice but to do so.

We've been with these 3 "guai zai" (tortoises in cantonese) for a long time.
And when we had to let them go, it was really a sad moment.
Me and my bro and sis have been trying to delay this day for quite some time.
But, what must come, will come, afterall.

In the car, as we loaded them into a bucket,
it was as though they could sense they were being let go.
So "Me" turtle kept trying to claw its way out.

It was only after that, that "Sis" turtle tried to claw its way out too.
"Bro" turtle didn't budge much, probably coz of d lack of space..

Eventually, we got there and we brought them to a pond,
where we knew many other tortoises were at.
There, we finally let them free.

One last photo with "me" turtle.
I'll mish eu sooooo much!!!

We placed them near the water, so they could go in themselves.

Honestly, it WAS a beautiful place to let them go free.
I was just worried that the water might be too deep for them.
And the other big tortoises will bully them.
But I guess I underestimate them.

I saw this odd-shaped shell tortoise.
Unique and cool. =)

I also spotted this reeeeli tiny tortoise hiding in the corner.
About the size of 3 of my fingers put together in width. Like a pebble.
I had to go reaaaallly close up just to get this shot.

Hope my tortoises will have a good life here.

I seriously will miss them tortoises.
I watched them grow so much with us.
I kinda understand how a parent would feel when their children are leaving, I suppose.

But I guess they will have a better life and freedom to grow here.
Just hope they can get enough food every day.
They are big eaters.
We spoil them i think. XP

This post is a belated birthday post haha.
Actually my baby cousin bro, Hao Wen, had his 3rd birthday party on 5th Sept.

I took only a few photos because of the lack of battery.
But I'm gonna post them up anyways.
Just so u guys can share how I feel towards his cuteness :P

F.Y.I., he is my only cousin to share the same birth month as me.
May not seem important to others,
but it makes me very happy to finally see,
that even if none of my siblings or cousins are anywhere close to my age (except Sara),
at least I have one cousin bro that has a birthday close to mine =)

Me being the oldest in the family, definitely had its perks.
Most loved by all. Most spoiled by all haha. Up till Sara was born atleast.

But, being so diff in age with everyone has definitely made it hard 4 me to mix.
To relate with them. And in turn, I've gotta try to mix well with them anyways.
So, I think that's probably why I am less mature than other guys hahaha!!

But its good I guess.
Being a kid, they have no worries like us do.
Lets hope their innocence last longer than ours did.

Hello hello hello!!!!
Its the 9th of September 2009.
In other words...

Happy 090909!!!

The triple nines day.
A day for friendship, as well as lovers to be forever together and stuff like that.
To me, its just an ordinary day,
but why ruin the fun of the day right? :P

I was suppose to go MV to watch movie today,
but ended up following my parents to my aunt's optimetry shop to choose a new frame for my mom's new specs.

There, I spotted this reeeeeli cool shades!!!
I usually take forever to find the right shoes, watch or shades that I like.
But today, I spotted it and luved it instantly!!!

Hehehe... luvin it!!

Oh God, did u noe that this is a new stock that just arrived ytd?
My taste is just too gud edi hahaha~

It really did look awesome.
Even my mom saw it and said she liked that best too.
So when my dad started checking out the shades,
I went ahead and took it out for a try, and showed my dad.
Hoping he would take a hint.

But what does he do???
He says, "Wah, this one also not bad worr.. come let me see... hmm, not bad worr... i can wear this worrr"

Ughh.
Damn.
He takes it and tries it on for his own use.
I feel plagarized.

Did u guys ever get the feeling when u just did something or discovered something,
and someone else swoops in to take the glory?
I kinda feel like that.

I kept giving subtle hints that I wanted that pair of shades,
but either he's stupid (which i noe he isnt) or he is just ignoring me.
Each time he tried a diff pair of shades, I took it over and tried it on again.
My dad was ignorant as usual.
And we kept this up.
Waiting for the second or opportunity to grab it from each other.

Ugh. Whatever.

At the end of the day,
he chose it and bought it for himself.
Really can't stand him.
This meant war, especially since I can't stand his guts.

I brought in reinforcements.
My mom.
I loudly announced to the whole place (mom, sis and aunts) that it was good that he was buying the shades, coz I could now wear it to Pulau Ketam this Friday.

My mom said: "Aiyo, u wan mai wear la. Ur dad buy d not wear all the time ma. U all share la"
Well, what was dad's reaction?
He acted like he didn't hear anything.

Just becoz he's only got 1 ear doesn't mean he can play deaf.
Swt la him.

I don't care.
I'm gonna keep trying to get it from him and use it anyway.
Like hell, he can plagarize me!!
Lol.

Well, most of u might think I'm being over-dramatic over such a small deal.
But truth is, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The things he's done has been mounting up for quite some time now.

Everything he does will look like its for us or the family to the outside people.
But I know better and I can see through his tricks.
Whenever he does something that benefits us,
it will definitely be something in it for him that brings him benefit too.

And...
Well, I don't wanna waste this post bragging about how "charming" he is.
I know he's my dad and all, but there's just too much friction between us.
He acts like everything's all peachy, but my whole family already sees some of his sides.
They tolerate it coz they wan harmony in the family.
So do I.

My Date with Coca

Before you start wandering off with your wild imaginations coz of d blog title....
Let me tell you all that Coca isn't some exotic new gf of mine LOL!!

Its my most favorite steamboat place!
And I rarely ever get to go there anymore.
There once was a time when my aunt was super rich!
And the rest of my uncles and parents were all still acceptably financially comfortable.

So, we got to go there and book a room for dinner atleast once every 2 weeks.
But again, that is the thing of the past.

Ever since the latest economy crisis,
everyone seems to have forgotten that place.
However, out of some crazy miracle,
my parents decided to bring me and my bro n sis there for dinner last Thursday.
The 3rd of Sept btw if ur wondering.

So, I must stop being such a brat and start saving my parents money.
After all, if I keep this up I wont see any laptop of my own anytime soon!! :P

Wow.
I've certainly dissapeared off the face of the earth these past few days.
Must be Merdeka giving me too much freedom or something hahaha!

Anyways I'm just really exhausted and wiped out these past few days.
Much has been going on and many photos have been taken.
I'm not even sure I'll be able to post all of them up here.
But I'll try.

So I'm gonna pick up from where I left off.
On Merdeka Day.
No, i didn't go on some "I Love My Country" Parade or whatever...

I just hung out at home.
Until Vee Shian and his sis, Chui Ming came over to hang out with us.
We pretty much just sat around the computer and tv.
Until the evening when everyone was close to falling asleep,
only did we finally decide to get off our butts and head down to the pool.

Yes.
I swam!
Miracle right?
I can't remember the last time I swam, actually.

Anyway it was just all round fun coz we didn't really exhaust ourselves too much.
Just a lot of sitting around, chatting with Vee Shian while the kids played ball.
Then afterwards, only did me and VS join them in a game of "volleyball" XD

MERDEKA!!!!!
Happy Independence Day Malaysia!!!

Honestly, this day,
doesn't really bring me tooo much excitement or anything.
But either way, I live here so I must.
Heh.

My real reason for blogging today is, ofcourse,
to update u guys on what went on last Tuesday (25th Aug).
I went to hang out with my family (minus dad) at Midvalley.

And for the first time, my mom, bro and sis went to sing k with me!!
It was really fun actually, coz...

One.
We never did this kinda thing together before.

Two.
My dad wasn't there to suck the fun away.
LOL. Okay, i'm joking. Mostly. Partially. A bit. Maybe. =)

Anyway,
I realised that my voice was rather loud that day.
I didn't really need the microphone to sing.
Probably becoz I had too much training while singing with Amy all the time.
With Amy around, no microphone can beat her voice!!

So, we went on singing for 4 hours at The Gardens Red Box.

Sis, Mom and Bro.

Heh. 4 hours of singing!!
My vocals r completely ruined for now.

Outside Redbox.

After finished with our sing k session,
we roamed around The Gardens for abit before headin back to Midvalley.
But we also did lots of window shopping.

And for the first time in a long time,
we did a real shopping spree as well!!!

And a pricey one at that too.
My mom said we could go take a look at the clothes in Reef.
Reef is kinda like Quicksilver so u get an idea of the price and style of the clothes.

The clothes were all so awesome.
I couldn't stand it.
I had to try them on!!!

Lol. Crazy kid.

And in the end,
my mom decided to allow me to buy 2 shirts from there.
One was a T-Shirt. A colorful one!!!
And another was a more towards casual/formal kinda long sleeved shirt,
and looked waaayyy awesome!!!

I bought this t-shirt... Cool huh??!!!
I'm not gonna show u guys the long sleeved shirt.
Mayeb next time when I wear it =P

By the end of our spree in Reef,
I alone had spent probably about rm200+.
I was shocked that my mom bought them for me,
but still extremely grateful.

After that, we headed back to Midvalley area,
camwhoring all the way hahaha.

Back there, we continued our window shopping.
We did stop by MPH cafe for a short while,
but soon, it went back to shopping spree mode.

My bro managed to convince my mom to get him a hat.
And my sis managed to get herself a pretty hip hop looking dress.
I almost got another button-up shirt but they didn't have my size.
So, I didn't push to get it.

Even if my mom said it was ok to buy another shirt.
Coz I know I shouldnt over do it.
My mom has already did loads for us today.

I mean, rm200++ for 2 shirts isn't exactly in our budget.
And I know our money has been very tight lately.
So I really REALLY am grateful for these clothes...

I can't wait to try them on!!!
I've already tried the colorful T-shirt on an outing the other day.
With Chi Yan and Win Jiun.

Might post about it soon.
Or maybe not. I'm not sure yet. =)

Around KL in Eighty Days

Well, maybe not EIGHTY days....
I don't even think there was eight hours at all.
Haha.

But I did tour around KL area.
Which is rare.
These are the days I think to myself.
God, I'm ashamed to be called a Malaysian!!!

I mean, I don't even know the roads around my own hometown...
Somebody ship me off overseas please. XP
I don't mind. Really. Lol.

Anyway~
Last monday was the day of all these happenings.
It was also my first day back at college.

I met up with Amy in Ms.Aiena's Abnormal Psychology class.
And then I gave her the birthday present I got for her.
Haha, right in the middle of class, she opened the present.

Well, class ended quite early anyways.
It was 9.30am when we all started to leave class.
And we headed out to the ADP counter to check out some stuff.

After, Yi Ling drove Amy, Alvin and I to Sunway Pyramid for lunch.
I had a craving for Western Food, so we ended up going to Gasoline to eat.

God, I really never thought of going there much.

despite being born Malaysian,
I've always thought of myself as more westernized. =P

I don't deserve to be here.
So pls again I ask God, send me overseas!!! =P

But either way,
it was a nice day overall.
Wasn't too bad I guess.

Got my new camera!!!!
Weeeeeee!!!~

It ain't some fancy Sony camera,
or an awesomely pro SLR camera... which I want!!!
But still, its pretty awesome.
And it shud get me through my photography class this new semester.

Its a Canon Powershot A1000 IS. =)

Picture pixels r gonna be huge!!!
And my editer doesnt seem to be able to cut it down to size.
Something wrong with it.
Gonna have to fix it when I've got the time.

But that will have to wait until after college 2moro though!!
